We stayed here for one night over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it, the room was warm and cozy and perfect for what we needed. Wish we could have stayed for breakfast but had to get on the road early, but we will be back next time we are in town!

We had arrived the day after St Patricks Day but all the banners were still up and Murphy Stout available on tap. We went in for lunch and had Bluff oyster starters and then Pepper Pies or Roast Pro. The food was very good but the loud 'punk' Irish music drove us older folk out.

Arrived at 10 am for breakfast and orders.tooktil 10.45 to get. Not many customers about. Hot chocolate was Luke warm. And asked for more butter and got peanut butter. I speak English, but the staff were international so there seemed to be bad interprtation of English. This needs to be sorted.

Lovely old pub but it needs a good scrub inside and on veranda. Big doughy heavy scone BUT the best whitebait fritters. Service was slow despite it being quiet the day we visited. Prices are reasonable

Had a lovely lunch here and was beautiful sitting outside in the sun. Unfortunately it was let down by the timing of the meals coming out, as they never came out together and was quite a time between our meal and our friends.

Arrowton is a well preserved historic gold mining town from the 1880s. We shared a Pizza at New Orleans which was a really good thin crust but our request for chillies on the side could not be obliged. A variety of local beers complemented the menu. Service was friendly and we returned a couple of nights later and ordered the...

This hotel fits perfect in the scenery of the historic centre of Arrowtown. We again stayed overnight in this smooth hotel after three years of absence. The rooms have got an upgrading. It was good to have the opportunity to book a room. The café-restaurant downstairs is a bit noisy and the responsibility for the reception was a bit unclear,...

We stopped in here for a few drinks on a busy Saturday night. Grab the spot by the fireplace - it is nice and cosy! The vibe in here is good - a range of ages, plus a good family atmosphere. Definitely book a table if you're wanting to eat in on a Saturday night, as the tables quickly filled...
