My wife and I were very much looking forward to our return visit to A-town and staying somewhere nice to just wind down after a hectic first half of 2016. Well, this hotel ticked all the boxes we needed to just relax and chill. From the heated floors (bathroom) and large bath to the amazing views of the late autumn...

From the minute I booked I knew we were in for a treat - Tim was professional, friendly and very accommodating when I was inquiring via email & phone. We booked in the beautifully designed ToiToi luxury apartment and my brother in law & wife were in the beautiful Hebe suite - we arrived to warm beautiful rooms and received...

We had a short but wonderful stay at the Arrow Hotel. Tim was really friendly and helpful, recommending and booking for us dinner in the evening and making sure we were well accommodated with everything we needed for a stay with our 2 year old. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, with everything you could need and are perfectly located...

Thank you for your generous feedback and for bringing your little treasure to stay. We enjoy having children at the Hotel and have high chairs and cots to make sure they have a comfortable visit also. We would love to see you again in the future so we hope you have plans for another visit here sometime.

One of the best parts about running and operating a boutique hotel is having the same guests come back to stay!! So thanks for being one of them and for your feedback!! It has been a pleasure to meet you and your family. You have two amazing 'young adults' and it fabulous to see you travelling together. It is a...

We spend one night here and were heartily welcomed at arrival. At six that evening the helpful and friendly owner Tim, treated us with free drinks and snacks and told us where to go for a lovely dinner in Arrowtown. Its only a few minutes easy and a pleasant walk away from the hotel. The accommodation was extraordinary, very luxurious...

Thank you for you generous and descriptive feedback. There are some spectacular colour displays from the suites at present. The autumn leaves display such a wonderful range of colour as winter approaches. We would truly love to have you come and stay again in the future!!

This modern, new, upmarket hotel will not fail to delight. From the expansive windows out to the lovely view of changing colour, to the soak in the tub whilst watching tv and of course the hidden cupboard and it's satisfying breakfast you will feel right at home at the Arrow Private Hotel. Tim and Paulette were very hospitable hosts.

I spent 3 nights in the Arrowtown House prior to meeting my wife and spending 3 nights here. Very different properties and experiences - but both very nice in their own way. If modern styling is your thing - this place will give you that along with and quiet location only a short walk from town. A nice full sized...

Spacious, clean and very comfortable. Tim is the consummate host. Breakfast was delicious and I loved the welcome wine / cheese he hosted. Rooms are well appointed, with a large bath and double shower. Plenty of kitchen facilities should you wish to cook in your apartment. quiet and located a short stroll from town. Would definitely recommend.

We are so pleased to hear you enjoyed your Luxury Super King Suite. The quietness of the location catches a number of guests out. Fortunately the alarm clock of breakfast being delivered to their secret cupboards saves the day. We hope to see you again one day soon!!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Arrow Private Hotel is an Arrowtown Boutique Hotel just five minutes walk from the centre of Arrowtown. With very contemporary design and styling, the Hotel recently won a prestigious architecture award and guests frequently comment on the attention to detail in the suites. In contrast, a historic stone cottage is the central meeting place at the Hotel. It is used as the reception area and as a house bar for evening refreshments and canapes. The roaring fire is very welcoming on a cold winters evening and many a tale has been told before guests walk into Arrowtown for their evening dinner. The Private Hotel is recognised one of the best Arrowtown B&B's. It operates more like a luxury lodge with each of the suites having its own private access and a hot cooked breakfast is delivered to each suite daily via a secret cupboard. With only 5 suites we are able to provide a very personal and private service . Adventures of all levels are not far away from the Hotel. Walking and cycling trails run right past the base of the Hotel which backs onto Coronet Peak Station. The Arrow Private Hotel is 20 minutes drive from the Coronet Peak ski field, from the Gibbston Wine region and from Queenstown. There are also 3 great golf courses within 5 minutes drive. ... more   less
