Stayed for 2 nights. Hosts were very welcoming and the Hostal is very, very clean. Rach provided a picnic lunch for one of our cycling days A great place to stay, dont expect to find a shop! went for few walks around the village. It would have been nicer if we had been able to get into the Church but the outside of the church is very interesting
Stayed one night as part of cycling tour. Great hospitality. Dinner is at a local bar, a short walk from the hostal. Very generous portions, go hungry. Breakfast at the Hostal is excellent. Lovely historic village to explore, the church is worth a visit.
We stayed at Hostal de Buen Amor for two nights as part of a Segovia- Sepulveda biking trip. The Hostal has been lovingly renovated, and the owners have kept the rustic charms of the original construction but added modern touches--WiFi, jacuzzis, etc. Our large 2nd floor room was completely inviting with its wood ceiling beams, marble-topped night tables, and substantial closets. We looked forward to coming home after a day of touring the country side. We also noticed the room was magically cool in the late afternoon, even without A/C, another benefit of this older style building. By the way, the Hostal is ideally situated for visiting the towns of Turegano, with its magnificent castle, and Torreiglesias, as well as Pedraza, another castle town with winding medieval "calles". Sotasalbos is also well worth walking around, talking to the friendly residents, and enjoying a meal. There are excellent Castillian-style restaurants within walking distance of Buen Amor. You'll want to visit Manrique for its "carne"-- great veal and lamb dishes. Or else try La Matita, which was closed while we there, but offers fish and fowl in addition to its meat. Overall, Hostal de Buen Amor is a welcoming inn that's located in a fascinating area.…
