Detailed Reviews
Phil and Michael Brosnan have a cozy B&B with some great views of the bay right out the front door. Phil was gracious enough to pick us at a local pub after our days route on the Dingle Way Trail. She was also kind enough to drop us off at the start of our Glin North leg the next morning. She offered very helpful information concerning the trail features. To top it all off she was the one who transported our gear to the next B&B on our journey! Imeall na Mara was my wife's favorite stop on our 12 day journey on the Dingle Way. There was a special effort to have extra amenities available like shampoo, conditioner, soap and, for us Americans a face cloth also known to us as a wash cloth. The room was clean and very comfortable with a nice view of the harbor/bay. Breakfast was superior to many other B&Bs we visited... the crowning glory was the plate of warm homemade bread pudding that was brought to our table. Thank you Brosnans for a delightful experience and to Hillwalk Tours for the booking!

This B&B is beautiful and very welcoming. The hostess is very knowledgeable of the area, especially if you are hiking the Dingle Way. It was a real treat, after a wet day of hiking, to have tea in the sunroom and be surprised with a beautiful creampuff!

Absolutely perfect! It’s conveniently located for hikers, and there’s a pub with food within a minute walk. Michael and Phil have a beautiful place, and they’ve thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The spacious rooms have all that you’d need: toiletries, cotton pads, coffee, tea. Breakfast was absolutely brilliant; not only can you order the typical breakfast items as with most b&b’s but there’s also freshly made cake, scones, and bread pudding. Michael provided taxi service to Dingle for a reasonable price. We also witnessed him going the extra mile; the couple with whom we shared the taxi forgot their Kindle in the room, and Michael drove it back to Dingle in time to catch them before they boarded their bus. This was the best b&b of all four where we stayed on our hike on the Dingle Way. Don’t look any further and just book it with confidence.

+1
I highly recommend staying at Imeall Na Mara Guesthouse if you plan to visit Dingle. It's a very short drive outside of town, and well worth it. We were in need of a place to just relax and Phil and Michael's place offered us the best place for it. Sitting in the sun room reading and watching the ocean was cathartic. Phil makes some yummy treats and we enjoyed a delicious slice of cheesecake with some tea as we relaxed. Phil and Michael were funny and attentive hosts. Breakfast was delicious and it was so pleasant to sit and look out the window at the sheep and horse with the ocean as the backdrop. Our bed was so comfortable too. We enjoyed this place so much we stayed an extra night. Come stay at Phil's place! It's like coming home.

My husband and I had just done a couple of nights in a 5 star hotel and headed to this gem in Ballydavid for three nights. It was sooo far superior than our time in the 5 star hotel! Phil welcomed us warmly and showed us to our beautiful room with large ensuite. The room was scrupulously clean and had the added benefit of seating at the window with great views. We slept so well on the extra large double. The breakfast was a major highlight. Large selection on the menu and all quite delicious with Phil's sister bringing us an extra treat of 'bread and butter pudding'. On our return each day, Phil always enquired if we would like a cuppa.... so nice of her. Wishing Phil and Michael continued success with their superb B & B. Angela and Pat.

Stayed one night on our Dingle way walk. Michael picked us up then Phil took us to start the next days walk after she served breakfast.
Extremely helpful and friendly couple. Wonderful modern B and B with all the finishing touches and more that you could want. Short stroll to local pub for dinner.
Fantastic breakfast with homemade extras such as hot bread and butter pudding and individual lemon meringue pies that looked really scrummy.
Superb breakfast.
If in the area would definitely book here again.

The tea/coffee with cakes upon arrival are a welcoming hug as you enter this charming home with views that are like a postcard. Phil meets you with her warm Irish smile and directs you to your well kept, comfortable room. We stayed downstairs in room 6. My family was in room 7 which is like a suite
Micheal helps with the luggage with a joke or two and a kind sense of humor.
Upon awakening you head toward the smells of fresh brewed coffee and breakfast to trump most all breakfasts in taste. I can say they made the one of the most delicious eggs Benedict’s in my history.
Just around the corner is a pub and a walk along the magnificent cliffs. Phil lets you know all the things to do and how to get there.
I loved my quiet time in the sitting room sipping coffee or Jameson and soaking in the views of the Atlantic, with sheep and ponies dotting the breathtaking landscape.
Thank you Phil and Bernie for taking such good care of us.

We stayed for a night and to say this is the most comfortable and welcoming bed and breakfast we have ever stayed in would be an understatement . It’s our second time to stay and we will return everytime we are in west kerry . Phil is a fantastic host , so welcoming to a beautiful house in beautiful Ballydavid .

Fabulous host and outstanding accommodations. Our room had a sitting area that looked out over the Dingle Bay. Although the weather was overcast and foggy, we had the best stay at Imeall na Mara. Phil, our hostess, was so very personable and charming making us feel welcome during our entire stay. The room was incredible, very spacious and completely up to date. The room we stayed in use to be the local grocery and post office before the owner remodeled three years ago. Every attention to detail was of the highest standard. Our morning meal was absolutely delicious. Be sure and take a walk along the cliffs of Ballydavid. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Phil for an excellent stay.

We stayed at Imeall Na Mara for one night on a recent visit to the Dingle peninsula, the house, the hospitality, the location, the breakfast and the value were all excellent. I would recommend this to anyone. Thank you Phil and Michael for this little piece of paradise.
