Rooms very dark (some rooms have the windows very high positioned), and poor electric lights in rooms and bathrooms. Some switches don't work properly. The beds are very bad, very hard old mattress and uncomfortable pillows. Thin linen and no duvets (it gets quite chilly at night in September), just old blanket stored in the wardrobe (really didn't feel like using that one) We were there 2 nights (had to change room) and hardly slept. One shower had the shower head so low you would have to stand on your knees!!! to use it properly unless you take it off the wall (room no. 1). Not enough towels for number of people booked per room. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast! The room placed in the basement, no natural light, and badly lighted. and the breakfast buffet was boring, no variety, and very small coffee cups! Bad atmosphere in general. Not enough natural light anywhere!!!!! Staff was nice though. But hotel not worth 4 stars!!! You cannot call it a Boutique Hotel. I find it too expensive for what you get.…
Was the best hotel by far of our trip to Spain. What's important is the people of the hotel the workers are very warm ppl. I didn't speak any Spanish but they did their best to communicate with us it's was fun😄 Thank you Maria & Jose you guys are the best.
This is probably my most favorite "Casa Rural" in Spain. It is found in the heart of the Castill y Leon landscape, about 30 miles from Segovia. It is one of the closest places to stay at from the "Monasterio de la Hoz", an really intrinsic Hermit Monastery in the middle of the Duraton River. The rooms are all different with different themes to each one of them. Very cozy, not modern at all, a place to forget about what you do daily...good food as well!
