We didn't realize that this hotel is literally in the airport, along with the typical airport noise and transient crowd. We mistakenly rented a car to begin a drive through Norway and upon exiting the parking garage, saw our hotel right by the exit. I pulled up to hotel and asked where we could park our hotel and I was told there was no parking, but instead we would have to go back into the airport and pay for overnight parking (if we had known, we wouldn't have rented the car until morning). At check-in, i realized that we intended to book the downtown Radisson. When i asked if we could transfer our reservation if they had rooms, we were told that if we did that we had passed the cancelation time at the airport hotel by 10 minutes and we would be charged an additional night there. The desk staff were young and inexperienced, but friendly. Our room was a typical cutout box with moderate amenities. As it turned out, breakfast was NOT included and overpriced, even by Scandinavian standards, but there are no options unless you want to walk into the airport and get fast-food. All in all, not an impressive hotel for service, but sound for business travelers in need of a place to stay adjacent to the airport. …
As usual exceptional hotel. leaning, customer services, internet and breakfast along with the proximity to the airport is perfect. I could use my points and no problems. It works as expected. I will book again for the next travel
When I approached the front desk on November 18 after a lengthy travel, I was fatigued. A front desk agent with a name tag that stated "Alex Trainee" welcomed me with a smile and promptly checked me into a room to provide me with the comfort of a bed to sleep in. Alex was friendly and accommodating, as well as professional. He is deserving of a raise and a promotion for the exceptional service he provides to guests at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Trondheim Airport, which contributes to their overall satisfaction.
Wonderful rest before the flight. Nice atmosphere in the hotel. Responsive, friendly service staff.Tasty food. Tasteful, comfortable room.Possibility to clean and polish shoes . Convenient and fast service.
Good hotel located right at Trondheim airport. Good overall impression. The only drawback for us was the lack of choice in the restaurant and only pizzas and burgers were offered. Staying in a hotel of this class would like to have the opportunity to fully eat.
Over priced. Over rated. Terrible menu in the restaurant. NO CHEF! Reception had difficulties finding my already paid booking. Elevators could read card for floor access badly - 5-10 tries. Room were freezingly cold and AC were not working properly - I changed my room at 23. In the restaurant you could have overpriced pizzas from the fridge or a bad burger. No cook hired? How can you have a restaurant without a cook… IMO this hotel should reconsider if they wanna be a hotel. The bed was good. Therefore 1 extra star.
Easy check in, comfortable bed, decent breakfast (a little small or underwhelming), good service, close (100 meters or so) from the terminal. Check out was easy, online process guided you through it all. Extra bed for our child was comfy as well. A perfect stop over.
Hotel entrance 100 yards from airport exit. well received at reception late , key ready. Room good standard nice bed and pillows. only a shower but normal in Norway. Car rental only 100 yards from hotel good breakfasts.
This was a leisure trip with family. We are on a driving trip and stopped over one night before our flight. Hotel was quite modern - breakfast not bad, had booked h CCB objecting rooms which were initially not available till I reminded the staff that the booking had been done 2 months in advance ! Finally got 2 rooms - however one was for mobility impaired access.
Great place to stay if you have a flight to catch after a long drive. Hotel and breakfast was great and various. Literally attached to the terminal building and opposite the car rental drop-off/pickup.
