We paid a very economical price so we got what we paid for. It was a dated room and was a very average room. Good if you're travelling on a budget. The Wi-Fi worked really well which is always a bonus.

Very welcoming on arrival ( even tho we were two hours early ). The room was comfortable and clean - the cleaning staff are very friendly as well. Nothing was too much trouble. Pool nice and cold - great for a hot Hawkes Bay day. Will recommend and definitely stay there again.

A really great place to stay for a week, getting in / out of the motel was really easy, towards the centre of the city. The room was really good, high pressure water which was good, Gas heated so never run out. Food courts not far away to get the fast food or the supermarket was also near by. Room...

We stayed here recently and were very disapointed. The unit was not clean, the net curtains were silver instead of white, we stayed 4 nights and the only servicing the unit got was rubbish removal and towels on the couch with a roll of toilet paper on top each day, yet we paid the same price each night so would...

My little family stayed here for one night last weekend. We picked this property as it was rather cheap, and close to the Hastings Hospital, where we were visiting a family member. The motel is basic but comfortable enough for a one night stay - assuming you wont be spending much time in the room. Rooms are small and rather...

We have stayed here before. The motel we were in has recently been renovated and was very comfortable. The grounds however need some TLC particularly the Frontage. The reception was friendly and welcoming.

The motel was clean, tidy although the décor was a bit dated. The manager was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for takeaways, grocery shopping and not far from the main township. I got everything that I would expect for what I paid. I would definitely visit again.

We have just returned from spending 9 nights at the Frimley Lodge. The room was just what we needed. Clean & comfortable & central to Hastings CBD. We were very surprised to find that the rooms are serviced every day for long term patrons. Will definitely be staying here again when we visit our friends & family in Hawkes Bay.

I booked this motel way back in September. Communication from the UK, with the owners was excellent, as I wanted to confirm booking having been let down by Jason's two years ago, when we arrived in Napier for the Art Deco Weekend and no record of our booking! Gareth and his wife are excellent hosts, so friendly and helpful.Unit 10...

Small centrally located motel in Hastings, this well maintained property has full kitchenettes in studio rooms. Beds are comfortable; staff are friendly. Although on a busy street, there is little road noise.

Thank Doug J
