Enjoyed the quaint layout of this establishment, and the sound of passing trains soothed one to sleep, although some were probably not so pleasantly entertained. The "brought in" Indian dinner was superb, as was the cold beer which followed it ! The Continental breakfast was also very attractive. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Whilst this motel subscribes to booking.com, it does not appear very committed or supportive. I made a booking for 3 nights and needed to amend to 2 but was unable to do it through the App. I phoned the motel and Leigh was quite vocal in his opinion of booking.com. He advised me to cancel the online booking and he...

You know how you have a favourite pair of old shoes? - well in a very positive way the Clansman fits that bill. We enjoyed a weeks stay in the large family unit which can sleep 6 comfortably (2 Queen beds and 2 single beds). The units are setback from the road so are very quiet. The units are a...

It's a quaint place on the edge of town. The owners who run it were the nicest people and even gave us a ride to our bike tour. Would highly recommend this place but the owners may be changing occupations soon, so get there quick!

Had a nice time here, quiet, even though it was on a main road in. I guess the expressway has helped with that. A matter of minutes to the town centre and 20 minutes to Napier. The room itself was clean tidy and had everything you could want. It's wasn't the most modern in its decor but hey, I had...

Restful stay with cosy and somewhat older style furnishings. Not far from eating facilities. Pity there was no one at the bar to serve us drinks however there appeared to be nothing on tap available anyway.

Very quaint but aging beautiful old fashioned English type establishment. Beautiful trees in courtyard. The owners are always willing to help with anything and even ask if there is anything they can do. Very friendly. They have a swimming pool and communal area to sit in the sun as well as individual tables outside each unit. There is a coin...

I stayed at the Clansman Motor for one night while I was in Hastings for a wedding. The room was very clean and tidy with a very comfortable bed. The following day I had lost my car keys while at the wedding. Lee, one of the owners was extremely kind and gave me a lift back out to the wedding...

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The owner was very helpful. The units are close to supermarkets, town centre and sport venues. The Units were tidy and clean. Nice pool. Lots of rooms for sports teams. Great fish and chip shop just down the road.

Thank you for your kind review, we are pleased you had a good visit.

the hosts were great and lovely to deal with and very easy to work with. We did find the housekeeping was a bit erratic - sometimes our beds would be made and sometimes not even if there were no items on them as per the instructions. Also sometimes we didn't get fresh towels. The decor is a bit dated (e.g...
