We thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful two night stay in this delightfully characteristic, large, clean, self contained studio at Seaport Village. It is close to the shops, restaurants, activities and beach. I don't think we even got back into our car while we were there. The only thing missing for us was a pool but the beach is very close and...

Stayed for a couple of nights there while exploring the bay, and didn't regret it. The unit was beautiful and the whole motel is very well located, just a few meters from the wharf and beach. The host was very nice and welcoming, and e only dark spot ln this perfect picture could probably be the noise out in the...

We arrived in Russell at peak time at New Year. Baden at the Seaport Village was very supportive and accomodating. He came on the recommendation of locals and it was well deserved praise. We stayed in an historic cottage ,the position was quiet , we were allowed the dog outside on the veranda and Baden was always available for any...

Were made to feel welcome from the time we arrived. Stayed 4 nights over the new year period and the town was buzzing. Found all the locals were amazingly friendly and we had many offers of places to stay and boat trips next time we come back. Our host even had his own little new years eve party on the...

Rovadrau, Manager at Seaport Village, responded to this review

Responding to the "bog standard studio suite at luxury price" by the Chins who stayed at Seaport Village for one night. On their arrival at the Seaport I received them courteously and helpfully. I had made it clear to them what was on offer in the rooms and if there was anything at all that they would like to not...

From the time we arrived for our 2 night stay till we left it was great. The manager was personable and asked if there was anything else we needed. I couldn't fault the room nice and clean with little extra touched such as the orchids picked out of the garden and displayed in our room. On leaving the Manager asked...

Handy to beaches, restaurants and central Russell. Clean, large suite including full kitchen, living/dining area, bedroom, and patio for outdoor dining. Manager was very helpful in answering questions about the area and arranging activities. Like having our own cottage near the sea.

We love Seaport Village! We stayed there for the first time in 2008, and have been back a further 4 times. Located in the heart of Russell, it is conveniently located to the beaches, the wharf, every eatery and the bars. Baden - the Manager is the 'man'. Very hospitable and loaded with local knowledge (of beaches, walks, fishing and...

This is a beautiful place to stay in Russelll. Probably the best. Location is fabulous right on the waterfront, 1 minute walk to the famous Duke for dining & 2 minutes to town and the wharf if you are wanting to do any boat tours or just cross to Paihia. Baden is just a dream to deal with for all...
