Stopped here for a quick night in Nelson. Beds were comfy, rooms were warm and the staff very accomodating. Appreciated the backpacker prices on food and drinks in the bar. The breakfast was also a great start to the day.

Unfortunately for me at both of my favorite hostels I only had 1 night. I would have loved to stay here another night, especially since I liked Nelson more than I thought I would. This is set just about a 5 minute walk from the centre and is in a quiet area. The staff here was awesome, they were all...

This is a great hotel/hostel/backpackers. Nani and Mike are lovely hosts and Erin is the best manager ever. I'm 54 and really enjoyed staying here and the young people had a ball! The breakfast is included and there's a two course meal (all day) for $12 so in all a very good vfm place to stay for exploring Nelson and...

Excellent value for your money!! This hostel is run by a young couple, so they know exactly what young people want. We liked everything about it, but our favorite things were the common area (all rooms face the courtyard, encouraging people to socialize), movie room with Netflix, hammocks, free breakfast+waffles, cheap drinks, and FREE BIKES! If you use them for...

Great place to stay. Clean and tidy with a cool little restaurant and bar. We stayed in the 6 bunk room and found the beds really comfortable. There is a free BBQ for guest use. The rooms are in a neat sheltered courtyard which is great just to hand out in.

This backpackers has got to be the best in Nelson. The facilities are top notch and always cleaned to perfection every day. Bunk beds are spacious and comfy, didn't hit my head once! The courtyard area with hammocks makes for some great relaxation or socialising with other travellers. My only complaint is that it was so booked up I could...

This has by far been the best hostel I've came across in the south island. They do amazing dinners in the evening and breakfasts in the mornings. The staff were very helpful and really friendly, most of all the rooms were very clean and all had a good layout.
