The hostel itself is a good place to stay. Unfortunately I kind of missed the vibe of a small hostel. One of the things that I had some trouble with where the beds, the matras in my room wasn't really good anymore, hope they will change it soon!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Staff was really nice and it cost 24$ for a campervan spot (unpowered). We were able to use all the hostel facilities auch as bathrooms, kitchen and swimming pool. Daily meals available in the own restaurant with very fair prices (10$ a pizza, 12$ a steak). We were able to book a Fraser Island...

Bit outside Hervey bay but a lovely quite location. Lots of nature. Bar/resto good prices and fairly busy. Kitchen and bathrooms clean although you have to leave a deposit to borrow pots and pans which is a bit annoying. Rooms ok, we had a private double with shared bathroom. Small and no wardrobe but alright for backpackers. Fan only so...

Situated in a really nice area, pool was nice, food was nice and the grounds were well looked after. Lovely to have a large pond with small turtles in also. However sleeping was very difficult as the double bed was small and no air con. On the whole would recommend

We have stayed on a powered site twice. Love the large sites, well kept, extensive grounds, friendly and inexpensive restaurant. The staff were very accommodating and made us feel very welcome with our dogs.

Lovely place to stay! The place is definitely more like a holiday resort than a hostel. Very relaxed there with lots of wildlife. Only downside is WiFi not in the rooms but this is no problem as the communal area/bar is very good, quiet and spacious.

This is a good hostel which is superior to some of the other YHA offerings up the east coast. Whilst a short car journey from the main hubs of Hervey Bay, a supermarket and some pleasant walking paths along the coast are in walkable distance. The main perk for backpackers in the place is surely the very well priced food...

Stayed here for 2 nights either side of a Fraser Island tour. Easy check in and out and very friendly staff. Very chilled out. Everything you need from a short stay in a hostel. A little far away from town but good as a lay over.

Thank Charlie M
