Clean and simple accommodation reasonably priced at $115.00NZD a night. Well located, close to town, attractions, restaurants and pubs. Staff very friendly and helpful, happy to point you in the right direction depending on what you want to see or do.

Not a fan of this motel. Rooms were old and outdated. Heater didn't work and tried the fan heater but was sparking so didn't want to leave on. Could hear everything that was happening in the next room. Curtains didn't block out any light. Bathroom was outdated and the shower has much to improve on. The view is spectacular on...

We stayed one night and it ticked all the boxes for a one night motel on our driving holiday - good value, comfortable bed, clean and tidy, friendly helpful hosts, free and reasonable speed wifi. Garden was well maintained ( love the flowers) and location was right across the road from the beach.....nice place to have a walk and admire...

Stayed here for one night, before swimming with dolphins with ‘Dolphin Encounter’ (which would also highly recommend). The motel is run by a very friendly husband and wife team, and the rooms are fairly basic but are clean and peaceful, just across the (quiet) road from the sea and a two and five minute walk from Dolphin Encounter and Kaikoura,...

As we arrived in the dark and the first motel we checked into had no one on the desk we chose this one. Glad we did the delightful managers - husband and wife - gave us a very comfortable room and even though it was an older style of motel it was still very well cared for. We had free...

After finding ourselves double booked at our original accommodation we weren't very hopeful of finding anywhere dog friendly at 5pm on a Friday afternoon but the visitor centre put us onto this motel and we couldn't have been happier. The staff were really welcoming, and the two bedrooms comfortable and roomy. It's a little old fashioned but clean, and the...

Directly facing the beach. Very handy to the town for restaurants and better than the average motel. Staff helpful. Ideal for a stopover when passing through. Price very reasonable $135. Would stop here again next time.

I stayed here with my two friends. We had the room on the sea front (10) which offered stunning views out to sea. The proprietor owns two tiny griffon dogs and they all offered a warm welcome. A small bottle of fresh milk was provided and we were able to park next to our accommodation. My friends had the double...

Great location. Rooms were nice a spacious, but it could do with more couches, as a room for up to 5 people only had a couch for 2-3 people. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the motel us nice and close to town
