We spent one night at the Inn The Bay B&B as part of our four week road trip around New Zealand. Luke and Kylie could not have been more helpful in making sure we were met at the B&B when we arrived, suggesting places to go and places to eat. The B&B is on the waterfront and it is an... More

We stayed at 'Inn the Bay' for one night in July and wish we had planned to stay longer! Kylie met us as we arrived which was a lovely welcome. She was able to recommend places to eat and a few walks that we could go on. The room was amazing, lots of space and a huge bathroom with a... More

We were in Kaikoura for the whale watch experience, having found the Whaleway Station (seriously) we needed to find accomodation for the night prior to our trip. We spotted this place and it sort of appealed, so, a knock on the door and we were shown the room etc which was fabulous, mine hosts offered us a welcome coffee in... More

Just stayed here for one night on my way through Kaikoura. Beautifully situated property right on the front. a little way away from the main town - but i take this as a plus - lovely and quiet. very near to dolphin encounter and seal colony. Hosts very helpful and chatty which was lovely as i was travelling alone. Room... More

This B&B is directly across the street from the waterfront and about a 7-minute walk from the heart of downtown Kaikoura, so it's very conveniently located. A spacious room, homemade bread at breakfast, and a friendly host added to the charm. Assigned parking directly behind the building.

We only stayed one night in the small town but liked this B&B. Our room was very big and comfortable with a huge walk in shower. The location is not bad on the sea front about 15/20 minutes walk from the centre of town along the seafront Kylie the owner was a delight and made us feel really welcome and... More

My wife and I had an absolutely delightful and amazing stay at this beautiful B&B. Kylie and Luke were fantastic hosts who were really friendly and helpful. We looked forward to having our breakfast every morning upstairs where we could take in the magnificent views of Kaikoura. Kylie was such a gracious host and we really enjoyed chatting with her... What a wonderfully friendly, helpful and welcoming couple. Nice large room and a super position for the house right on the beach road , near enough to walk to the town centre but far enough away to miss the noise and bustle. Nothing Easton much trouble and Kylie and Luke made it a real home from home. Don't look anywhere... More

A little bit outside of town, but right across the street from the water. The views are fantastic and we even had a visit from some Dolphins. The room was big and tastefully decorated, and the walk in shower was awesome. Kylie was a great hostess, making homemade bread and jams for breakfast.

The young couple that owns this property is very gracious. He is local, and she is from Christchurch. They both work other jobs but could not be more welcoming. They spent plenty of time with us and gave us lots of local advice. Our accommodation was gorgeous and ground floor. Breakfast was upstairs in the family area. We did the... More
