Very disappointing Room was good ,but service / reception was terrible, I called at least 20 times and no answer.Stayed two nights , both nights had no sleep because of fights breaking out and young people drinking and partying till 2am in the morning .

Dropped in with no booking and the same girl was cleaning and serving reception. As it was winter it was quiet and she invited us to check facilities before taking our payment. I felt it was good value compared to what we paid for elsewhere. Close to centre too and gave us everything we needed.

We took this place because it seemed to be cheap. But fir the price you just have a room without blankets, everything has to be paid extra. We took thid motel because there is a kitchen, but the place is almost empty, there are not pots pans plates... this place is cold, there is no charm, a road passes by...

Room was clean and tidy, however showers showed no sign of ever having been cleaned. Kitchen/dining area had one table, and was dark and unwelcoming. For $60 for one adult this was poor value. Recommendation: look at facilities before you pay. If I had known it was like this, I would have gone to a clean facility and put my...

We have never stayed in everything as disgusting as this motel, No hot water, TV didn't work, toaster didn't work, all the dishes etc were so disgusting and dirty. No heating in the unit. All we can say is Travellers BEWARE!

My partner and were booked in for two nights here. We stayed one night and had to leave, it was awful! We had a cabin outside which slightly resembled a shed. The room looked like a prison. The beds were extremely thin, it was like sleeping on cardboard and the toilet facilities were unhygienic and disgusting. However the staff that...

After leaving getting a room to the last minute, I was thanking my lucky stars to get the last room in all of kaikoura. Until the morning when there was no hot to have a shower. The room was spacious and semi modern with seperate lounge and kitchenette. Road noise was a little high but a few drinks elevates this...

Excellent clean room just been redecorated so spotless. Comfy beds good clean sheets good kitchen facilities in room. Only problem was the hot water to the shower was not too hot. Not a desperate problem as weather good but if poor weather then it would be no good for a shower. Staff very very helpful.
