The room was spacious and immaculately clean. Bed was very comfortable. Good shower pressure. Conference dinner and buffet breakfast delicious. Best feature by far was the soft and absorbent bath towels!!!

Very convenient venue for a gathering of 40 folk some of whom stayed in the hotel. The buffet meal served for the party was very good being a 3 course meal for $36/pp. Breakfast also buffet was equally as good. Cleanliness of room was excellent, room very compact, double bed comfortable but bouncy.

We all travelled up from Tauranga on our Motorcycles and were treated to an exceptional weekend. My wife and I drew the short straw on the rooms and got the small one but apart from a tight squeeze in the en suite sink we managed to have a ball.

Staying here for work and had everything I needed. Room was clean and spacious. Had fridge but no other kitchen facilities due to restaurant on site. Bed was super comfortable! Restaurant food was great and definitely had a variety, also on the weekends they sometimes had buffet which was a good change in the menu for me. Breakfast had a...

I had a great experience at this hotel with the exception of quite a bit of road noise. The King Bed was super comfy, shower had plenty of power (which I love) and all the staff I dealt with were really nice. My room had a DVD player and the reception had a selection of movies for guests to use...

stayed here for work and would not stay again, rooms were average and looked a little tired. location is okay with a short walk to the town basin and a couple of good restaurant/cafes. service was average although bed was reasonably comfortable, but not much to write home about.

My family and I went here for dinner as others had organised it.I asked if we could order some bar food as the children were hungry before we were ready. We had checked the menu on line but were told they would cook nothing and we would have to have the buffet. At $38 I was not paying this for children.Eventually we...

We booked this hotel at the Information centre when we called in for accommodation and was not disappointed. It was a double room, small but adequate for two nights. Breakfast was good with cereals, fruit, and hot selection. Staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't have the evening meal as we could walk to the quay, where there were other...

As review below, good start, but "The Superior" room left much to be desired. No cutlery, bottle opener, air con, no bowls (so you had to have their breakfast) and had to fill the kettle with a cup since it didn't fit under the tap. Did have a heater on the wall (in a sub tropical environment!!). Bed was comfortable...

We stayed here 7 nights, and enjoyed our stay. It's important to know that this hotel has different room sizes which vary from the very small to reasonably spacious. We stayed in an Executive Studio, the largest size, which was very comfortable, and had the benefit of a (shared) balcony with a pleasant view of trees, river and road. We...
