Me and my husband are travelling in NZ for a month. We have booked Grafton Cottage and Chalets on Hotels.com and it is the first stay in NZ after a long journey from Denmark. We got a warm welcome from the owner and a beautifull carbin with a great view. Breakfast was very nice - try the Mango juice😀 We...

We arrived to a warm welcome including milk, biscuits and a delious local bailey's type drink for later on. The Rata room although small was everything we needed and the bed was huge. TV reception was poor due to stormy weathere. The breakfast choices were numerous and came nicely set out on tray, and we ate outside. Nice views and...

Thames is a great base for the Coromandel and Grafton chalets are a top spot to stay. Situated on a hill overlooking the town and the Firth of Thames, the views are stunning, especially at sunset. Comfy beds, friendly hosts, refurbished great shower. A tiny improvement would be to have another comfy chair for three people staying to fully enjoy...

This place is just nothing short of amazing. It is a B&B with no less than 6 units. Each unit has a hilltop view of the Firth of Thames and Thames village. A very friendly greeting was quickly followed by a tour of the place. There is an outdoor hot tub, a cold pool, and then the panoramic rooms with...

Albi and family very welcoming to this lovely hidden spot. Chalets all have a beautiful view, comfy beds and great breakfast. Also checkout Albi and families traditional hand carving, some of it for sale. A gem.

Quirky place with a bit of a tricky access. Lovely view from the room. Breakfast was really nice & delivered right on time. We had access to seating just outside. There was a pool & spa but we didn't really have time to enjoy them this time. The owners were a lovely family.

What a fantastic spot perched high above the town and surrounding landscape! We had planned staying only one night but quickly changed our minds so that we could explore the Coromandel Peninsula and return for another night. The rooms were like a villa style with spectacular views. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean with a yummy breakfast available....

On a rainy trip with floods further up the peninsula, this was an amazing compensation. Separate little timber cottages sit high on the hill overlooking Thames with a view back over the whole estuary. Yes, high on the hill, so driving is pretty essential. We were upgraded to split level cottage but the initial booking was as well-serviced and, if...
