Nice looking motel advertising 50ch of sky. NO SKY MOVIES. when asked about why there was no sky movies a very stroppy owner advised we have done a survey of guests and no one watches sky movies!! and there is an additional cost to $350.00 per month to pay. There was no telephone in the room to contact reception or... More

Sky Direct that has 50 channels does not include the movie channels. We have surveyed for 12 months our customers and found that only 1% watch movies. Sport is the main requirement. Many of our customers now prefer to connect to Netflix or Lightbox through their phones and tablets. Our survey also included the use of phones in the room.... More

I had to do an emergency dash up to Thames and when there had to arrange accommodation. The owners could not have been more helpful getting me settled in and helping even more a couple of days later when my family member got out of the Hospital. What was initially a tense family situation was eased by the owners kindness... More

We stayed here recently for a work trip. We were greeted by the managers who were both very friendly and chatty. They sorted is out with wifi, milk and showed us to our rooms. They made sure we knew where everything was and how it worked. The rooms were nice and comfortable and had a spa bath, heating, and a... More

Triangle Spa Bath an absolute delight in the winter time, room was a little more expensive (off season prices), but well worth it. Venue is very accessible to Thames main street with an appealing front patio area that was enjoyed even in the colder weather. A quiet facilities, not really suitable for younger children. Room was clean and faultless. I... More

We stayed here for one night, the Motel was clean & the owners lovely. Our room had king size bed, small kitchen with everything you would need, extra pillows, blankets, iron & ironing board. The shower was great with good water pressure. This motel can be a bit noisy first thing in the morning with the traffic. You can also... More

Pleasant, large room. Comfortable bed, but for the tourist there was absolutely no information about Thames provided in the room - no ideas about where to eat, sight see or upcoming events, which I thought strange. I think this motel is aimed at the overnight business traveler. WARNING: bring earplugs! The traffic noise from outside is horrendous!

We always had information for tourists that included both the town and the Coromandel area. However these day the guests seem to think that everything in the room is there for them to take. Because of this we have moved all information into the office. More

Clean room with a comfortable bed and a decent bathroom. Situated on a very busy road, opposite a cement works (which was closed, fortunately, on the weekend), so we found the traffic noise a bit disturbing. However, it was reasonably close to the main street of Thames, where there is a good choice of dining options, and is perfectly adequate... More
