There is no alcohol served on maafusshi island as it is a strict Islamic country alcohol can't be sold on the local islands. However, All resorts sell alcohol but it can be very pricey. There is a "party boat" just off the island. The locals call it a party boat but when we went it was very relaxed, there can be music but its usually in the backround and not too loud. They sell alcohol and there is a restaurant aboard also. We went two nigt to this and it was great fun and not as exspensive as our day visit to the resort. Ask in you hotel/guesthouse and they will arrange your transport to the "party boat". It's usually a free transfer to this.
