This is by far THE BEST hostel i have EVER been to! Very good location in St Kilda. Just by a tram stop and a supermarket 200 m away and a short walk to all the bars, luna park and the beach. My girlfriend and I booked a double room for 2 nights and we wish we would have stayed...

When we arrived we were put in a 5 bed room all boys, whom had been staying there for a while which is never usually a problem however the room smelt horrific!! We aren't ones to complain but we had to move rooms as it was so bad!! Perhaps there should be a no shoes in room rule or something?...

Very good. One of the best. Only negatives bottom bunks a bit low, ensuites/bins not cleaned daily and shared bathroom facilities better than ensuites. I stayed in 2 rooms. Both very clean and the extension leads and baskets next to bed very useful. Spacious kitchen and communal areas.

Habitat hq was well priced and reviewed as very good and we weren't disappointed! Staff on desk was always friendly! We stayed in two different rooms both were clean, spacious, comfy enough and had good sliding lockable drawers under the bed! Rooms were all locked with key cards which was great and the bathrooms were big, clean and modern! St...

I stayed here for 4 nights with my girlfriend in a 6 bed mixed dorm. Thankfully no snorers and the people we shared with were really nice. The beds weren't that comfy, thin pillows and air con didn't work (thankfully it was cold outside the other 3 nights). En suite was good, although they don't clean it unless someone new...

I stayed in this hostel for one night only in a shared dorm, it was just amazing! The room had air-conditioning, the bed comfy and the toilet very clean and quite modern. The staff is awesome, when you need something they are really there for you. The shared areas are organized and clean, I really enjoyed the fact that there...

We didn't realise until we got there that it was a backpackers place. We stayed anyway as it was so clean and welcoming. We had a double room which was very nice and spotlessly clean. Towels , tea and coffee provided. Breakfast was included but we partake. Couple of blocks walk to all the eating areas and trams.

I think this place is great! Clean the staff are friendly, and I really appreciate the free breakfast. I came over Christmas, and the staff had put together a BBQ lunch for the travellers. That was very sweet of them. The environment has a really good vibe, and it's close to the tram so getting around is easy. I would...

Friendly and secure hostel, suitable for almost anyone on a backpacker budget. I stayed in a private room, which was very clean and comfortable. It is located within walking distance of St Kilda beach and makes travelling to and from the city a breeze.

Myself and a friend chose to stay here as we had a delayed flight into Melbourne which meant we wouldnt arrive til the early hours, and this hostel had a 24hr reception. When we checked in at 3am we had only booked the one night but knew we had to check out at 10am, so asked if it was possible...

Hi Sophie, I am really sorry to read that you felt let down by the customer service you received. Unfortunately with late check out, it is not possible when a new reservation is due to check in that day. Being peak season we are always fully booked, particularly our privates. I apologize if this was not explained to you in...
