Have stayed here before on several occasions and it is very noticeable that the place is getting run down. The staff are still very friendly and helpful (most of them anyway) however the rooms are looking a bit sad. The curtains in the main bedroom are all torn, looks like a slasher had attacked them, hot plates are really old...

I'm sorry we fell short in a few areas during your most recent stay. My wife and I purchased the property earlier this year and have been working our way through the rooms implementing a series of improvements. We laundered all of the sheer curtains but unfortunately this resulted in damage to some of them. We are currently awaiting new...

We booked the Sebel as a one night get away after a hectic week at home. This hotel was advertised as a boutique hotel so we were not expecting a lot. To our surprise the staff were fantastic and the accomodation was much better than expected, our room was a one bedroom suite complete with kitchenette with dishwasher and washer...

This was the first stop of our three week adventure around the island state. What a great start! The room was spacious and well appointed, very comfortable and warm - we hardly used the a/c during the cold nights and brisk mornings. We could not fault the service either, we were looked after over the three nights we were there....

The hotel is in a nice spot in town with easy access to most attractions. Most rooms are fairly large with separate living rooms. The cafe on ground floor is efficient although selection is a bit limited, however completely in line with expectations so no complaints. Staff was fantastic and helpful.

Accommodation was large enough to have room to move with a small kitchenette which made making my own breakfast easy. Separate bathroom and the best pillows a hotel can have. Close proximity to city and easy access to the highway as I was heading to the Tamar Valley, Bell Bay.

I am writing this review from my room at the Sebel Launceston, from which I will have to depart shortly. What a nice room it is! It boasts all the things that we business travellers need: good wi-fi, comfortable bed, desk and a shower with lots of strong, hot water. It also has a kitchenette, which we found brilliant. The...

What a great review, thank you. It's really pleasing when a guest gives such positive feedback about our rooms and service and although you mention you are not often in Launceston, we really hope to see you should you travel down from Brisbane again. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Our room had all the conveniences necessary, fridge, microwave, washer, dryer, safe and more. The room was large and beds comfortable. Only disappointment, they need block out curtains. The breakfast was wonderful, and again the staff were fabulous. We got a late check out, which was so helpful, and no hassle. Loved everything about our...

Dear Ann, Glad you enjoyed your stay with us and thanks for taking the time to post your review. Our rooms have roller blinds behind the sheer curtains which block out most of the sunlight - apologies if these weren't obvious. We hope to welcome you again in future. Kind regards, Craig Richman Owner, The Sebel Launceston craig.richman@thesebellaunceston.com.au
