We stayed here while competing at Symmons Plains and found it a great little spot for our team. Yes it is dated and could use a make over but I think you need to be careful of expectations when booking somewhere called Village Family Motor Inn. It's not going to be a flashy hotel but I will tell you what...

A great place for a relaxing meal with beautiful views of Launceston & the Tamar River. Delicious wood fired pizza and mouth watering desserts! The staff are very accommodating in regards to GF options.

After looking at the reviews we thought this accommodation was a safe bet. When we arrived the room was dated and in bad need of some maintenance and updating. The worst part was that the whole apartment smelt like an Indian curry house. The smell was in everything and because it was so dated it felt dirty. Definitely not worth...

Thanks for your ongoing sponsorship of our local golf and Brain Cancer awareness. Very much appreciated. This business is a credit to the industry. Well done Chris Pam x Glenn and Craig. The fact you continue to attract large numbers of international, interstate and local visitors is testimony to your warm and professional approach.

Amazing wood fired pizza and desserts made from scratch. Friendly, relaxed dining and the best view of Launceston in Launceston. For gluten free diners highly recommend the GF pizza and GF chocolate pudding - is amazing!!

Stayed over New Year, great food, friendly people, excellent views of Launceston. Central to day tours northern Tassie. Lots to do, places to visit, sights to see. Room ok, clean and tidy, noon good on hot days with no air-con.

I have stayed at Village on 3 occasions. The room is somewhat outdated but spotless. The pizzas in the restaurant were fabulous and the service is warm and caring. I love it there. It is situated on rather spacious grounds and in the budget range I would recommend.

As one other reviewer noted nothing pretentious just great value for money. Room was spacious given that a bit dated, the value of this motor inn made this a wonderful find for a one night stay. Clean rooms and amenities and friendly staff made this a comfortable short stay in Launceston.

I stayed in 2 bedroom apartment with young children. Small kitchenette downstairs and lounge with TV. Bathroom downstairs only. Bedrooms upstairs and can be quite hot in extreme weather. Portable fan available and Windows can be opened. Parking directly outside door. Nice indoor heated swimming pool although was not particularly warm the water but very clean. Spa also.
