Had such a lovely night here, wish we'd booked more time. Big, gorgeous light filled room with immaculate spa bathtub, incredibly comfy four poster bed that we never wanted to leave. The room was like stepping back in time to 1900s in the best way possible. Stunning room and friendly staff!

When we arrrived at this beautiful building we were greated by lovely staff which were more than helpful to our every need. We checked into our honeymoon suite which was absolutely gorgeous with an amazing view. There is a few minor things to be done but was expected with such an old building. We will definitely be staying here again...

The owners where lovely, I got told only one room left until we found out what was wrong with the plane and if need accommodation they let us hold it for 1/2 hour until we where aware what was happening, as soon as I knew what was happening with the flight I called back and they said is that the...

Waratah on York An awkward experience all around where money needs to be spent to make this motel, more comfortable and soon at these costs. Car-park stairs: The top middle step is a hazard that I had just warned my partner of without a rainy day and a slippery metal rail added to the equation and it’s potentially accident waiting...

Old style hotel with plenty of charm, rooms big and comfortable and room 8 has a big spa bath and small balcony so was perfect to relax in after a day exploring the area. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts provided are tasty and there is a good variety of choice...

I like old hotels with character and chose this hotel. Room No. 1 was large with a king size bed and a single bed. The bed was really comfortable. The lady said the previous owner ordered a container of mattresses from overseas and they have had so many good comments about the mattresses. The hotel provided cooked breakfast in a...

Stayed 3 nights here to explore Launceston. Very friendly owners who cooked a customised breakfast for me and offered travel advice. Spacious room with fireplace, spa and comfortable bed. The steep driveway, small car park and steps to hotel were challenging but the city views were compensation for these things. The courtyard was right outside my window where smokers enjoyed...

We stayed one nite before heading on a road trip around Tasmania. Very nice old building with large rooms, was told that it used to be the mayor's house. They have a new wing with a modern cafe as well. Owner is friendly and warm.

Beautiful historic hotel. Large comfortable rooms with comfortable beds at a very reasonable price. 10 minute walk into the centre of Launceston. Friendly owner. Excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
