Lovely old world atmosphere with antique furniture and modern bathroom fixture. Clean, welcoming ambience, staff was helpful but not intrusive. It's right in the middle of the city but at night it was blissfully quiet, thanks to the double glass installed in the balcony. Near supermarket, Church, shopping places. A great place to stay!

We stayed at the Inn twice, it is a quaint little spot on the edge of the CBD, full of old world charm. It is a great location and you can walk to the Gorge tracks or good restaurants like Stillwater and Seaport. The CBD is quite small and easily accessible on foot. It has on site parking and is...

What a delightful little place to stumble upon. Ive seen some reviewers complain about lack of WIFI. Good! Put down your technology and see the beauty around you. Take a photo of the old style bedrooms or the old fashioned breakfast dining room with its tablecloths and antiques everywhere. You can post them later after you leave this old world...

We stayed here for three nights in early March. Check in was straightforward and friendly. The room was very comfortable and spacious enough for us. Plenty of dining options within walking distance. Our cooked breakfast was first class and the brewed coffee excellent. This is a great place to base yourself for exploring the North. We would stay here again.

Everything was fine with our room and the location. Comfy beds and nice enclosed terrace. Couldn't fault it. Just a shame about the lack of a warm welcome. Reception not manned at peak check in time and I really didn't want to know how many people had previously left without paying their bill...50% of mine was taken before I arrived.

Characterful, with several rooms having 4-posters. Convenient for walking to the gorge and some good restaurants near the waterfront, but several blocks from downtown and the immediate location is surrounded by busy roads. No wifi is a big downside and continental breakfast rather basic. But fitted the bill perfectly well.

Great location within easy walking distance of CBD and a local food mall. The is also a large supermarket only 2 blocks away and fast food outlets not much further. Our room was only a double at a reasonable tarrif, but included a fully enclosed (shared) balcony with pleasant views. Room was a little snug but was clean and included...

Lots of pluses! Walking distance to CBD. Big supermarket and food mall/ fast food outlets nearby. Lovely building with nicely appointed rooms. Clean and cosy. Realistic room tarriff. We only paid for a double room, but a fully enclosed shared balcony was a bonus. Only a couple of negatives supplied milk was off (past use by) and access to rooms...

My wife & I recently stayed at this motel while travelling in Tasmania. We enjoyed the character & facilities so much on our first stay we stayed over again on our way back a week later! The owner/operator is very welcoming & has furnished the rooms & other areas of the motel with antiques & collectables which gives the place...

The hotel and the room were quite ok - clean comfortable- but the room we had (room 26) was unfortunately under room 27 - we could hear every movement and step taken in the room above - squeaky floorboards and no apparent separation between the timber floors - we had someone who walked around all afternoon and from 6:30 am...
