Our room at the Commodore Regent was a great sized room for my family, the room was clean, tidy and comfy. It had a tv, a mini fridge, tea and coffee facilities and 2 comfortable double beds. The bathroom was clean and and had soaps and shampoos to use. I recommend this hotel of a 2 - 4 night stay!!

The Commodore Regent is value for money, You get what you pay for. It is a 1970's two story style motel, with no lifts, so if staying on the second floor with luggage could be a struggle for some guests. As a place to come back to after long days out it is satisfactory for comfort, but the room we...

We booked through Booking.com at a very good rate. We stayed there many years ago and was unsure if things had changed. We got a pleasant surprise, the room was very clean, spacious and warm. Very comfortable beds and although we were in a room overlooking a busy road we weren't disturbed with any noise. The room has recently been renovated...

We arrived late but reception was still open as the restaurant was open. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. Room was generally clean and quite spacious. Edges of carpets along the walls needs vacuuming. Huge square shower head was fabulous. Bathroom was clean. Central location is great. Opposite City Park and very close to city centre. Free wifi requires a passcode...

This place was just ok and did us for what we needed. We should have asked for ground floor when booking as we were upstairs, which we had to drag our luggage upstairs (our fault) the towels in the bathroom were wet and I thought my son had used one when he dried his hands, until I discovered that 2...

Stayed 3 nights and was very happy with our experience. Room 37 had been recently refurbished so was very modern. Absolutely huge bathroom! From our room we could see Aurora Stadium across the river. Great location as close to the city centre, and across the road from the park. Our room would not be suitable for guests who could not...

Very well situated hotel directly opposite city park and a 10 minute stroll to Launceston city centre. Smooth check in with friendly and attentive staff. Continental breakfast available. Rooms were adequate and clean although was surprised rooms did not have a microwave. Safe, comfortable stay and would recommend.
