This is a good budget hotel close to the city, shopping centre and only a short walk to the beach. However, the rooms are tiny and there is barely room to walk around the bed, let alone room for your luggage. Unfortunately, when we went to shower late in the evening we discovered that the drain was blocked and this...

We stayed here in january just for a night away, only paid $92 on a Saturday night! Less than half the price it would have cost us to stay anywhere in Sydney on a Saturday night. The room was small but tidy & had everything we needed including tea & coffee facilities, tv, and air conditioning. The staff were lovely,...

It's a college dorm room, not a hotel room, people. Tiny. Carpets were disgusting and filthy. Walls had holes and damage from posters or whatever previous student put up. Bathroom was clean. I've stayed in better hostels. Get what you pay for, I suppose. On a bright note, staff was very nice. Sean, who checked us in was ver kind...

Stayed here overnight with the family before the NYE. This was the cheapest hotel I could find online due to high peak season. And lucky I booked it in as it was a great value for money. The location was excellent - shops and the beach were walking distance. Room was clean and enough space to move around. Will definitely...

Stayed for one night in December for a stopover on a larger road trip. We booked Marketview based on price and location and were not disappointed. Right in the heart of Wollongong CBD, we were nice and close to all the main shops and amenities one needs for a 12 hour layover. Check-in was very quick, with pre-payment taken from...

A small room but great value for money. The friendly staff allowed us to check in a little early. It's location is close to the main shops and restaurants of Wollongong. Parking was available for free onsite.

Well we needed a place to stay one evening and we choose the Marketveiw and as much as the staff were very very helpful, the nights sleep was not. We had university student staying and they were running up and down the hall ways and doors slamming during the night. I found out later that this hotel is used by...

I have used this hotel on a few occasions for business trips and it has been fantastic. The restaurant for dinner and breakfast is great and the food tasty and well presented. Room service has to be collected from the restaurant on a tray, so PLEASE remember to get salt, pepper, sauce and serviettes etc., otherwise you will be in...

We stayed here on the way to Sydney from Melbourne. We stayed one night and I'm really glad it wasn't any longer. The hotel was advertised as free parking. It was all full when we got here so we had to leave it on the road not far away and make sure we were back to move it at 8am...
