I have used this hotel on a few occasions for business trips and it has been fantastic. The restaurant for dinner and breakfast is great and the food tasty and well presented. Room service has to be collected from the restaurant on a tray, so PLEASE remember to get salt, pepper, sauce and serviettes etc., otherwise you will be in...

We stayed here on the way to Sydney from Melbourne. We stayed one night and I'm really glad it wasn't any longer. The hotel was advertised as free parking. It was all full when we got here so we had to leave it on the road not far away and make sure we were back to move it at 8am...

We stayed here for 1 night and paid less than $90 which is fantastic! The room while small was very adequate and provided everything that was needed. Our room also had a view of the Illawarra Escarpment. The location, immediatley behind Crown Street Mall was fantastic and the room was very quiet. We will certainly stay here again when visiting...

I needed to spend a Saturday night in Wollongong recently & was astounded by the cost of accommodation. When I tried to book a month prior to travel, the most convenient hotel was $320 per night & there was little else under $220. So I took a punt on the Marketview Accommodation - part of the Uni of Wollongong &...

The rooms are quite small (just remember this use to be an IBIS) but they are clean, comfortable and the beds are amazing!!! The hotel is located right next to the mall, main shopping, restaurants including Gomez Y Guzmen, yogurtland etc. It has 24 hour concerige desk and has a chic feel about it. Definatley will stay again.

Such a trendy place! My kids and I walked to the beach very casually in our swimmers and got to see the funky cafes along Market Street. Free parking was handy and the concierge was very helpful. The place is literally on the doorstep of a fantastic new shopping complex and a short drive to the University. Lovely bathroom, and...

Stayed here on business for two nights. Liquid splatters up the side wall next to the bed and on the wall next to the window. Crumbs under the bed and general dirt, grime and a feeling of general grottiness. The window latch was broken and the pillows hard. Lots of younger residents making noise in the hall of an evening....

My wife and i went to Wollongong for an event this weekend and we stayed at the Marketview Hotel for the first night. The room was quite small but it was clean. The mini fridge woke us up in the middle of the night with a bit of noise but at checkout we told them about it and they said...
