The staff of the hotel were generally good and helpful, but the overall impression we got was that the hotel was a bit overpriced and light on quality. We were a bit disappointed that parking was an extra charge ($15) and their breakfast options are totally overpriced (about $28 per person, slightly less if you book the night before). There's...

Don't expect excellent customer commitment. Have no regard for being honest and thoughtful. Rooms are clean. Breakfast was probably the best part although staff kept trying to take people's plates before they had finished

We enjoyed a weekend here whilst going to the Wings over Illawarra Air Show and found the accommodation great. The rooms were spacious and bed was comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly during our stay.

The hotel is near the coast and within a few minutes of the free city shuttle bus that can take you all around town. Breakfast is good, but if you prefer you can get simple ones nearby as well. Rooms are clean.

This hotel is great value for money. It is within a short walk to the town and across the road from the beach and Win Stadium, and close to lots of great restaurants. All staff were very friendly, happy and helpful. The hotel is very clean and quiet. The restaurant/bar serves fabulous, tasty food. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and...

Came here after visiting the Wings Over Illawarra airshow. The staff were amazing and even upgraded us to a junior suite (from king balcony) after I requested an Oceanview. The rooms were modern and very comfortable. The hotel is only a very short walk from the beach and great restaurants. Will definitely be staying here again!

From arrival at reception, through to departure, staff were more than helpful and friendly, the room (with an upgrade) was clean, tidy, well serviced, and an awesome view. Offstreet parking was a bonus. Breakfast included in price was excellent and again service exemplary. Price - a special deal by the hotel - was excellent - and cheaper than others in...

Welcomed by friendly staff on our arrival. Our room was clean and tidy with it's own courtyard. Buffet brekkie with a view onto WIN Stadium and the ocean. A short walk to shops, golf club, the beach and City Beach Function Centre. Lovely couple of days away.

Centrally located beside the Win Stadium and near the Wollongong Golf Club the Sage hotel has spacious rooms with the standard fittings. But the bathroom had a massive amount of staining between the tiles that was very dirty and the carpet in the room was also stained. Not sure if it was worth the price and was more two star...
