We loved our stay! The beautiful ocean views from our bedroom and balcony were just spectacular. We loved the indoor pool, sauna and spa and a 2 minute walk to the patrolled beach was really handy. With a beautiful seafood restaurant downstairs, day spa, cafe/milk bar we felt we had everything we needed. Clean, modern, quality comfortable furniture made the...

We liked this hotel. It was quaint, clean & well equipped. If you are not active then it's a bit of a walk to town - 15 mins slow walk. Everything worked well. Would stay again. There's a coffee mChine in the room for coffee addicts. Downstairs does great food & there's also a great clothing shop just outside. A...

Complex travel arrangements meant that I was only able to stay for 12 hours, but from the moment of arrival I knew this was a place of high standard of presentation.1. The reception staff were SO positive and welcoming and were not phased by my difficult travel arrangements. They did everything they could to help and they succeeded! 2. The...

Christmas at The Observatory was amazing! The kitchen was good enough to cook a full turkey dinner in. The views were absolutely stunning. The 2 bedroom apartment was clean, comfortable and well laid out for a family of 4. We wished we could stay longer!

This hotel was in an excellent location, was very clean, extremely spacious with underground parking available. Access to Town Beach across the road and great views if you can get a front facing apartment. Indoor pool a bonus for kids. Great stopover hotel if you are heading north or south. Would recommend at least 3 nights here for a relaxing...

Once again the Observatory exceeds expectations as a peaceful oasis on the waters edge. Providing a view that is unparalleled in Port Macquarie. The room was pristine in cleanliness with a modern beach decor. The enclosed balcony is a fantastic place to eat in and enjoy the view. The hotel is green without impeding on comfort which is something very...

Receptionist was very welcoming and we dealt with the necessary procedures very quickly. She also provided us with a quick review of Port Macquarie and what was open over the Christmas period. Our fourth floor apartment was spacious and overlooked a beach and the ocean. The large windows provided a lot of light and increased the feeling of spaciousness. It...

This hotel is in a good location location in Port Macquaire, walking distance to the beach and to city centre. There are also a number of cafes and restaurants just outside. The rooms are spacious and ours had a balcony with table with a slight view of the ocean (Level 3). The rooms are however quite dated and really could...

Thank you for providing us with feedback on your stay. I apologise that we were not able to meet all of your expectations. Wi-Fi access in particular is a concern as we have recently invested significantly to improve the speed and reliability of the Wi-Fi however it appears that we may still have an issue in one of the rooms.

Stayed here for 3 out of the 6 nights we were in Port Macquarie and I wouldn't say the accomodation is anything special, although for a beach front room at $200 a night I'll say the location is good value.
