Great place to spend quality time with the family. Beach easy to get to as it right across the road. Newly renovated Bowling Club had lovely meals at a good price. Coffee Shop downstairs did a good take away coffee.

We toyed for 2 nights. Great location close to beach and restaurants. Large unit with 2 bed rooms and 2 toilets.. Well equipped kitchen. Friendly staff. Few issues with wifi reception. Perhaps due to heavy usage by neighbouring units.

This is a great hotel, spacious well equipped apartment, nice and clean with a cute balcony, however the bed was one of the most uncomfortable I have slept in to date (not sure if it was just our room) this bed needs replacing or at the very least invest in a decent mattress topper. We would have stayed another night...

Modern apartment located at building at back of hotel. Would be nicer to get a room with a view. Fantastic indoor pool spa and say a but disappointed no gym . You Joe to pay $10 to go gym a few blocks away. For the Mantra and the price you pay you expect a gym. Modern rooms but only a...

Positives: location is great across from beach. Lots of nice walking tracks nearby. Negatives: Room was not serviced for 5 night stay. Amenities not refreshed or replenished. 2 bedroom deluxe ocean view room has 2 king size beds that can't be separated for children. Clothes dryer didn't work.

We loved the location and the ability to be fully self contained. Only one style of pillow was available which were very high. Both my husband and I had bad backs after our 4 night stay. I'm not sure if it was from the pillows or mattresses or a combination of both.

My wife and I were looking for a place to stay while driving to Sydney from Brisbane for a wedding and came across the Observatory due to its prominent position overlooking the ocean at Port Macquarie. It was easy, comfortable, clean and friendly and within minutes of stopping we were enjoying the views and the comfort of our generous sized...

Previously we had stayed in a one bedroom apartment at this property, however, due to a one night stay we opted for a hotel room instead. I am very pleased to say that the hotel room was just as fantastic as the apartment. Really love the beach view from the louvred balcony and the running/walking track on the esplanade.
