This is a winery basically which appears to have tagged on some cabins and added a small pool and a restaurant area to make it a motel. Room - cabin was fine. Watched the wine making video with taster session - ok but no big deal. Stay also included a free wine tour in the morning (9 o’clock as was... More

Good place to base yourself while exploring this amazing wine region. Rooms serve there purpose but are showing signs of age and could do with a facelift. Shame there is no table and chairs on the patio to enjoy a glass or two overlooking the vines, sitting on a park bench provided is not quite the same. Great choice of... More

The hotel is between Broke and Polkobin but nearer to Broke. Chose it because I wanted to do a wine tasting but needed to be in walking distance. The hotel is part of the Hunter Valley Resort which includes a small boutique winery, a cellar for tasting, a restaurant and bar that sells a variety of locally brewed beers. Just... More

The hotel is in a lovely position and we thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet As part of our package, we enjoyed the wine tasting and Terry helped us choose a suitable wine to enjoy on our patio before dinner. He was very knowledgable about all the local... More

A good and open location with vineyards all around. Pizzas in the cafe and beer/wines at the bars are superb. Visiting the vineyards, wine theatre experience are all a thing to experience. Hunter Valley Gardens, Cheese factory, Museum area all near. Kangaroos just infront of our room's doorstep..Wow..

Exceptional service at the cellar door and also by all staff in reception and in the restaurant. I was extremely surprised at the high quality of the food at dinner. we booked this hotel when we went to the Paul Simon and Sting Concert in February. The hotel was conveniently located on one of the concert/event bus routes .

Staying at the Hunter Valley Resort was wonderful. The nearby vineyards, Kangaroos running in front of our room's doorstep, the wine testing and winery classes all added entertainment and wine knowledge..
