The hotel is rather charming with a secluded and calm location. Beautiful surroundings and walking distance to a few nice wineries. Having said that, the hotel is in need of some renovation. One also has to be aware of that restaurants are only reached by car. Breakfast is rather fastidious and already in the apartment upon arrival.

We went with friends we loved it. The pool was lovely the grounds were nice the rooms were very clean you even get wine & chocolates on arrival I don't know of any places that do that unless you pay the big bucks. It is very affordable we go there on a regular basis because of the price. It is...

I have been coming here for the past 4 years every 3 months or so. The property is divine - hidden off the main road so its super quiet but still very central to every thing. There are a couple of superb vineyards in walking distance - ask the manager for her recommendations, they are worth visiting. The rooms are...

Filthy! I have travelled several times around the USA & this hotel was the filthiest by far. It was infested with spiders, not that daddy long legs are life threatening but when u have a wife who has a phobia it's a nightmare! I counted over 40 spiders & cobwebs that were around the top of the walls in every...

I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. With relation to the issues that you have raised, you arrived quite late at night, hence there bing no one on site at the time to assist you. When you called we offered to send the contract cleaner out to rectify any issues with the room and the duty manager...

Really liked this place. It's laid back, relaxed and reminds me of Tuscany. The rooms have everything, and are clean and tidy. The pool is a lovely addition. Kangaroos visit as the sun sets. Great hosts, happy to help with everything, but definitely give you your space. Well located and close to great restaurants which pick you up and drop...

We loved this place, would have loved to stay longer, bottle of wine & local chocolates left & a bottle of local milk, loved eating on our balcony with the wild life & the pool & gardens were beautiful. It was just like being in a French villa. Would certainly like to return.

Found this place by chance. Great location in amongst a winery. Perfectly comfortable accomodation with character and this includes local produce left in your room! Good sized place to rest and use as a local base when in the Hunter region. Their suggested places to visit is worth following as we were not disappointed by the ones we managed to...

Close to the heart of Pokolbin. We had the merlot suite - large airy ensuite room, small kitchenette. Easy booking through AirBnB. Some local produce in the room so we could make breakfast. Pool looked good, bit we didn't try it. Not fenced so wouldn't recommend for children.

HI Andrew, I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. The pool however is most definitely fenced with regulation pool fencing. There is an unfenced dam on the property some distance away from the building.

Love it, love it, love it! From the friendly service of Jo, to the breakfast provisions including local produce such as muslie, yogurt, fruit, bread, juice. Our kids loved the croquet, bocce, swimming and friendly kangaroos. Happy kids = happy family break.
