I ordered the lasagne with chips and salad. The lasagne is extremely cheesy, and the chips have a delicious crunch. The salad has honey mustard dressing and a good variety of vegetables. I really enjoyed this meal, it's under $20 and great to go out with the family, friends or couples.

Wasn't real happy having to share a bathroom. The room was quite stuffy so had the aircon going most of the night. Too noisy to open a window. However it was clean and neat. The staff are terrific. I guess you get what you pay for.

My wife & I had lunch at The Premier on a Sunday & were pleasantly surprised with the value & quality of the food on the menu. Both our meals were superb & filling. The only downside was that along with another couple, we were the only ones in the restaurant! I know it was a very hot day, but...

My experience at the premier hotel was nothing short of spectacular. The menu designed by head chef Brogan is a breath of fresh air for the Newcastle pub scene. Food was quick to reach the table, and the presentation of each plate was a feast for the eyes. The flavours of each dish were well distinct & balanced. I can...

Yes it is a pub , but a good one you have the option of an ensuite for a bit more money and family room but I chose one of the rooms with the shared bathroom it was fine although they should clean the bathroom a couple of times a day and the kitchenette was a good thing if you...

Shabby small room with stained bed-foot runner. Shared bathroom and shared kitchenette. Not a hotel at all a backpackers lodge. Pretty poorly advertised as a hotel and pics are somewhat misleading. Those facilities are shared.

My family and I stayed for an overnight during our trip from Sydney to Brisbane. We booked a family room for 4 (three adults and one children). Our room was quite spacious, very clean, had ample amenities and very clean bedsheets and towels. The bathroom was spacious. We also had comfortable beds and a very good night sleep. However, if...

Overnight stay was good for value overall. Good size room with ensuite (pay more) bathroom a little small though. Bed is very comfy, clean room and new linen. Shared kitchenette is missing a bin and the sink area is awkwardly placed. Foxtel wasn't included on TV as advertised. Service from staff was awesome though and they allowed me to leave...

Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We appreciate all of our guests feedback and take it on board. We don't advertise that foxtel is included but the Hotel itself does with the staff more than happy to change over the channel to your request. We have great staff here who love their jobs which does translate...

My mother and I stayed here during a business trip. The price and location was ideal which was the main reason we booked. We spent alot of time running around with our luggage from Sydney to Newcastle that day and to walk into this establishment was a breath of fresh air and relaxation. The gentlemen whos name I have forgotten...

Don't be fooled by the pictures - this place is a pub. That bathroom in the pictures is a shared bathroom in the corridor. However, if you're after a clean, cheap room, this place is ok. If you're travelling with your family, look elsewhere. Also, the kitchen closes early and there's nowhere else in walking distance to eat.

Thanks for the review, yes we are a hotel pub with clean, fresh and tidy motel style rooms on our second level. We do offer a family room with a King Bed and 2 singles which has its own bathroom, this is a popular room so could have been booked out. We have a mixed of ensuited rooms and ones...
