Clean, quiet (despite proximity to railway tracks) and generically Ibis so you know exactly what the layout will be. Despite this, it's really pricey and the service was pretty bland (the polite, insincere half of the duo was preferable to her giggling, disappearing counterpart). Ok for an emergency, but for a slightly grungy part of town, you'd expect to pay...

firstly the front office staff are delightful! truly a credit to the hotel. We were checked in without a fuss and as there were 3 of us we got 2 rooms right next to each other. being previously a local, i knew the closest location for shopping dining etc, my partner and a friend were newer and the front desk...

Firstly, Ibis is not promoted as a 5 star hotel so it would be unfair to compare this to hotels of this level. As a three star hotel, the Ibis is quite a good place to stay. The location is central to Newcastle, the bed was comfy and the pillows provided a good night's sleep. Staff were friendly and the...

The hotel was very handy to the city, restaurants and bars. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The Hotel presentation was clean, tidy and the rooms comfortable. It was very good value for money
