This was our first time staying at the ibis and would definitely stay again. Usually staying in budget accommodation means uncomfortable beds but the bed was surprisingly comfy and nice pillows. The room was clean. Staff were extremely friendly . Will be back next time we visit newy

My stay was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The location was ideal for me. And it was good value for money. The room was tidy and adequate. Ideally, would have preferred more channel options on the Television. I look forward to staying there on my next trip.

IBIS Newcastle is great value in a great location and the practical, clean and tidy rooms have everything your need. Staff are super efficient and friendly. On site parking is great for people who travel from Sydney for work.

This Ibis follows the format for many budget chains. Rooms are clean, comfortable, minimally equipped but fine for a couple of nights. Location is good, quite close to the centre of Newcastle and the buses are free to the CBD until 6.00pm.

We found the Ibis good value for money. It was clean, serviced daily and had all the basics. The rooms were not big but, adequate. The location was central and in walking distance to Coles and Woolies. We did try the breakfast on our last morning and it wasn't too bad. Parking on the premises cost $15 per night.

I came to Newcastle because I was volunteering at the Writer's Festival and the Ibis is within walking distance to the Civic Theatre and the City Hall. I have never stayed at an Ibis Hotel before but was expecting a small room as I believe these are at the lower end of the hotel market. Yes the room was small...

Clean, quiet and comfortable room. The staff were lovely particularly one tall gentleman made us feel very welcome. The restaurant had excellent dinner meals, which I highly recommend. Location is good as it's on the main st of Newcastle within walking distance to lots of great things. I will stay here again!

I arrived quite bedraggled, busting and impatient. The lady who greeted me was very cheerful, helpful and kind. We turned up early, so she arranged to get our rooms cleaned immediately. The room was clean and had all the basics. On the Saturday we found some great places very close by, a piano shop, an art gallery and a great...
