We recently had a brilliant three days staying in our Fifth Wheeler with our two Granddaughters living the farm life with Elaine and Farmer Ken. The girls thoroughly enjoyed all the animals and activities which were actively shared by Elaine and Ken. The girls really got their hands (and face and clothes and feet) dirty and loved it. They petted... More

We took our 3 grandchildren aged 3,5 & 6 and we all had such a great time doing real farm activities. Elaine and Farmer Ken are the perfect hosts, and Elaine is hands on with the children so that they can learn and have fun while enjoying all the animals. Riding the ponies and actually milking a cow and collecting... More

I took my three children ages 12,13,14 to Barcoos and we had a ball. There were animals galore including an adorable bow-legged lamb, fat gluttonous pigs and tiny-sized to enormous-sized horses. There was mud, cows milk in the face, horse poo, sheep poo, duck poo, feeding pigs with spoons, fondling tame chickens, tractor drives. The kids were fully engaged and... More

We spent 3 nights at this delightful farm stay and our 2 kids 8 and 5 are all the better for it. We are one of the few who have camped recently and to those considering it do it! The camp site was grassed with amazing views from our camper trailer, the camp kitchen and facilities were some of the... More

We had a lovely two night stay here. The kids loved all the activities with the animals and our son couldn't sleep because he was so excited about doing it all again the next day. Also after we left we left something behind and they posted it to us- very quickly and no hassles. Excellent view and location too! Eileen... More

We camped for 3 days in this delightful spot, the best of our camping experiences of the summer. From our tent we had 360 degree views of the rolling Bathurst countryside, and were able to enjoy the delight of the children taking part in the farm activities. It was heart warming to see their excitement at all the simple pleasures of... More

I don't normally spend time writing reviews, but I felt the need to really give Elaine and Ken's Barcoos Barn Farmstay the praise and recommendation it deserves. We rented the Wardell Farmhouse for a 3 day/2night visit. The house was very clean and had all the amenities you need. It was extremely spacious for our 2 families with 2 toddlers.... More

We have just stayed at Barcoo's Barn for the second time and have booked for later in the year. I don't know what is wrong with the people who gave such a small minded review. We appreciate the wonderful work done by these hard working people who give of their time to help children and adults alike to experience a... More

My kids are so excited to be visiting Barcoo's again.... The kids always enjoy the farm activities and regardless of if we are camping or staying in one of the units or the farmhouse we are always comfortable. Interacting with the animals is such a great experience and to get a glimpse of farm life is a fantastic experience for... More

From the moment I pulled into the driveway, I knew that this would be a holiday that we would not forget. I was travelling with my five children who were aged 2-9, one of whom was terrified of animals. We were all greeted warmly by Elaine and shown our spacious and comfortable accommodation. Each day we participated fully in farm... More
