I booked at Omau settlers lodge for 3 nights at the end of January 2017 to celebrate a special occasion. It was everything my partner and I hoped for. The room was clean and spacious, with doors at the front and the back to catch the sun rise and sun set, plus see the sea. The owners were welcoming and...

Excellent, nice quiet location. Friendly staff and great pub close by. Rooms functional and all very new. This would be a good base to set yourself up to explore the North West Coast, Abel Tasman etc.

Fabulous decision to stay here. Hosts were welcoming - unit well equipped and very high standard and so close to NZ's best sunsets!! Close to a very friendly tavern where meals were served and the friendly locals are very welcoming. All in all a great experience and the most comfortable bed on our trip!!

I traveled the South Island of New Zealand for 2 weeks in March and stayed at a variety of accommodation from large hotels to B&B's. The Omau Settlers Lodge was the one place that my wife and I would travel to just to stay at the lodging. Everything was perfect. The rooms were unique, well-appointed, and clean. The location (mountains...

Omau Settlers Lodge was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were lovely and had views of the sea and of the native bush. Continental breakfast was yummy and included home made bread and yoghurt. The hot tub was great. Lee was hilarious and nothing was too much trouble. After we had checked out he even drove a few kms down the road...

This is a lovely small lodge just along from Cape Foulwind. It was peaceful and beautifully clean and comfy. Lee, the owner was very welcoming and breakfast was included in a very reasonable price. The pub next door, The Star, served the most amazing fish and chips. All in all a lovely afternoon and evening.

This was a great motel offering new motel units with lots of great touches such as lovely shampoo and lotion, night light in bathrooms and hair dryer. The provided breakfast was great and plentiful with homemade bread and marmalade and very generous supplies of yoghurt and fruit and cereal. The owners were delightful and most helpful. We would definitely stay...

Excellent choice for overnight stay. Rooms spacious, nice hot spa on a cold afternoon. Lee & Karen made us feel very welcome. Excellent continental breakfast in the dining room enjoyed chatting to other guests. Good location for beach walks & to visit the seal colony. Walked next door to Star Tavern for evening meal & refreshments!! Highly recommended.
