Stayed 2 nights in November 2016. Slightly out of town but takes only 20 minutes to walk in. Beautiful setting near the lake with snow-capped mountains beyond. Lovely spacious bedroom with excellent bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic - the best on our travels in New Zealand (and Australia!). There was wine to help ourselves to in the fridge. We were about...

Three words come to mind when I think of this place. Welcoming, immaculate and comfortable. No stone is left unturned in this fine residence. The attention to detail is to be applauded both inside and outside the residence. It is exactly what you hope for from a B&B. People who are genuinely happy to be around people. They make you...

This is a wonderful B&B and we are very happy we booked. Rooms are huge, modern and spotless. Bed is amazingly comfortable and bathroom is super modern. Hosts Philippa and Mark are very warm and friendly. Mark gave us tips for stops along our day trip to Milford that were very helpful. Philippa made recommendations for dinner and offered to...

This is the best accomodation we've had for our stay in NZ. The room was surprisingly big with a large ensuite bathroom as well. The jacuzzi tub worked wonderfully! It is clean and well-kept. Mark & Phillippa are such warm and friendly people, advising us about eating places and driving times to nearby places. The freshly cooked breakfast in the...

We had a fabulous stay at Dunce B & B and were made to feel welcome from start to finish! The hosts were kind, informative and attentive. The room was clean, modern, comfortable and the views were breathtaking! Now the breakfast! Jeeps! It was outstanding! Egg's Bene & Full English were our favourite! Loved the fact there were homemade biscuits,...

We spent two nights here and arrived rather early but our hosts let us store our luggage as we were going on a glow worms trip in the afternoon. Upon returning we met up with Philippa and Mark who made us most welcome and and offered complementary tea/coffee/wine from the communal dining room. Oh, and there were also some home...

The service at Dunluce is second to none. The little touches throughout are so well thought through and personalised. Views are lovely from the rooms. The hosts were so warm and lovely and could not do enough for us. And the food! Go wild at breakfast with the full whammy breakfast after trying the home made muesli, muffins or biccies....

When I book for a B & B STAY, I look for reviews that mention about friendly and wonderful hosts. If you are looking for that too, this is the place to come. I booked two rooms with beautiful view and quiet location. Breakfast was great and the rooms were neat and clean. I will choose this place again definitely...

We stayed here for 2 nights as part our tour of the South Island and had a wonderful time. The accommodation was high quality and we particularly loved the spa bath in the Kepler Room. The small terrace with views over Lake Te Anau was also a highlight as we enjoyed a late afternoon snifter. Philippa and Mark were great...

We really enjoyed our stay! The room was comfortable, clean, and had a great view. The hosts were quite friendly- they took time to tell us exactly what stops to make on the road to Milford Sound- this helped us tremendously on our trip. They also helped us pick out a place for dinner and made reservations for us. Breakfast...
