We stayed for two days in Te Waka lodge. The apartment is excellent. Large, with a good bed and a nice bathroom. Next to that there is a seperate diningroom. However the apartment is supposed to be self-contained but lacks all kitchen facilities. Our plans to cook dinner ourselves and thus our shopping went down the drain on the day...

Was a little reluctlant to go B&B - but very pleasantly surprised to find it was separate accommodation from the main house. We arrived 2 hours before check in but room was ready so we could drop our bags before finding lunch. Room is very tastefully decorated, spacious enough for 2 with adequate kitchen. Love the big pig who happily...

This house we stayed in was subliminal. We had a large room, a closet big enough to store an elephant. The king-size bed was super comfortable and am ensuite with shower. We had a view on the mountains. We had access to a sun-room and dining area, which was perfect for us to eat our dinner. We also had the...

We stayed in Te Waka Lodge for just one night and had one of the units in the back. Unit 1 was clean, spacious, and very comfortable with a glass sliding door to get into/out of the room. There was one queen bed and one single bed, two arm chairs, a small kitchen and dining table, and a bathroom with...

NB this B&B is now called Te Waka Lodge. Recently changed owner. There are three guest rooms, and we had the big one, upstairs. One downstairs had a shallow ramp to get to it. The room we had was huge. Real luxuary. Simple breakfast each morning. Peace and quiet.

We absolutely loved our 3 nights and days in Te Anau and Antler Lodge was the ideal spot from which to do so. We had a spacious self contained unit behind the house, which was clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. Helen is a friendly and helpful hostess, who left our breakfast in our refrigerator every day, including eggs which we...

We stayed in this B&B for 3 nights, using it as a base for visits to Doubtful Sound and Milford Sound. It was one of the nicest places that we stayed in in New Zealand. We had the upstairs apartment, adjacent to the house. It was extremely spacious and very well equipped. And comfortable! We were well looked after by...

When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Chris. We stayed in the apartment in the back. Very spacious and everything for breakfast the next day was nicely stowed in the fridge. Our hostess, Helen, came to see us later that evening and one really gets a feeling of being at home with such great hosts. Thank you Helen and...

When we arrived our host Helen draw our attention to the closure of the road to Milford Sound. Since we would go for a cruise she suggested that we should go to the cruise company to see whether we could change the date of the cruise. We clearly appreciated her concern in the pleasure of the guests. The room is...
