We stayed here on two different occasions. It's a really nice, warm, home-y place, and each room felt different in terms of decor. Doesn't feel like one of those sterile, generic, cookie-cutter hotels at all. They even included nice touches like little lavender sachets on each pillow. Both times, we stayed in a 1-bedroom suite with a pull-out couch in...

Everything about this property was great. A warm, friendly and helpful greeting. Our room had a lovely lounge suite to relax in and take in the views and the bed was a very comfortable queen size with thoughtful, lovely finishing touches of a chocolate on each of the bedside tables and lavender sachets on the pillows. The guest laundry was...

Nothing but good. Receptionist showed us to our room and reviewed the operation. The room was very large with two recliner chairs. The internet was particularly good and this is something that's important to us.

Within walking distance to Lake Te Anua and the city centre. We stayed here so we could check out the Milford Sound (travel time is about 2 hours from Te Anua). Was cooler weather when we stayed but luckily the room itself was well insulated and had heating. The living room and kitchen were open plan and overall it was...

Very friendly staff. The location is really good. Rooms might get a little bit too hot during the afternoon if it's a sunny day outside, but nothing you can't deal with. Everything is within a 5 minutes walk. I do recommend this lodge. We were 3 people. 2 adults and a 7 years old child.

The location is great, just in front of the lake with partial lake view and very close to the town center. We stayed as a part of a group for 2 nights in room 11. The rooms are well decorated and plush. Nice recliner in the living room. Kitchen area was bit small and living room had a fold out...

My wife and I spent two nights at the Lodge on the start of our New Zealand trip. After a 31hr flight from London I was greeted by an extremely friendly and helpful lady who showed me to our room and also gave some fantastic advise on trips and things to do! The room was large, well appointed and had...

We had a lovely one bedroom efficiency. Very large with a generous bathroom, roomy sitting area and galley style kitchen. Each room has a big sliding door that opens to a gravel area with a picnic table and umbrella and a lovely view of the lake. The weather was gorgeous when we arrived and it was lovely to sit outdoors...

We stayed two nights while visiting the glow worm caves and before having an overnight stay in Doubtful Sound. The units are well designed and well furnished, with a more than adequate main living area, and an extra bed for a third guest. The bedroom has double doors opening onto the living are. The kitchen is more than adequate for...

Spent 3 nights, nice rooms within easy walk to town, tours etc. Very clean with nice staff. Kitchen well equipped for making breakfast in room. Easy to book tours at reception, convenient laundry facilities. Rooms are on a side street close to, but not on, the lake. Lower units have partial view of lake.
