Stayed here with a friend in a twin room.. Ideal for what we were after because we were getting up before the sun to beat the traffic into Milford and get on an early boat.. We ate in te anau before bunking down due to it being another 30 mins past te anau.. The man on reception was helpful and...

No mobile/data signal but cheap access available from reception. Driving through Te Anau beforehand helped us realise that this is a much quieter place to stay...

Best western advertised with a bar and restaurant, but on arrival, we were told the bar and restaurant was not open tonight for dinner or in the morning for breakfast. Clearly not happy they did agree to provide the continental breakfast in our room free of charge. Had to go back 28 kms to Te Anau for a meal. Room...
