First impressions are this is just a slightly beefed up motel but I have to say the stay was comfortable enough. Our room with a double and a single bed was clean enough even if the decor was very dated and a bit scruffy in places. The bathroom was tiny and the shower head defective so the floor got swamped....

The reception service was good, the breakfast was below average, location was good, but the bed... oh boy... the bed was just amazing! We stayed there three nights and we could stay longer... I was looking forward to going to bed haha would go back (room 232)

The hotel is very convenient on the way to Milford Sound and has a lovely View from the restaurant. The rooms are comfortable though the bathrooms are old with small tubs. The double bed was full, not queenh, which was a disappointment. The food in the restaurant was very good but I didn't see local Otago wine on the menu.

I'm afraid I won't be staying here again. The rooms although average had less than average facilities. The shower was the worst shower ever with low power and it ranging from extreme hot to freezing during the whole shower. It was dirty all around the shower bottom and the toilet didn't work properly. Beds were soft but ok for one...

From the moment we checked in the experience was fantastic. Friendly and inviting. Our TV was fuzzy and the staff installed a new lead in a cheerful and accommodating manner. Breakfast was good but also an experience with one member of the staff breaking into song at one stage. Not overdone but made us smile. Million dollar views from the...

Parking to unload on arrival and every other time a nightmare due to coaches blocking driveway for 20 minutes or more at a time. The they would run their motors outside our window at early hours in morning doing pickups. Paying extra for a Superior Room with mountain view a waste of money as it was a minimal peek of...

The staff were friendly and efficient on arrival. The room is faily basic and getting tired (peeling wallpaper) but clean. They only offer a double bed in standard rooms not queen and the bathroom is very small. A good location right on the lakefront.

The staff are helpful polite and friendly. The rooms are spacious and Clean if a little jaded. We were upgraded to a superior room and found the beds were comfortable, there was tea and coffee along with an iron and ironing board. Unfortunately there was no safe to stow passports etc and no air conditioning- which mea t we opened...

Room was fine, nice size. Breakfast not so good. All fruit was tinned, nothing fresh. Bacon bit under cooked and scrambled egg bouncy. Decaf coffee in rooms really nasty. Must remember to bring my own. Staff were helpful and friendly and gardens flowers lovely
