I would say that the accommodation is decent at best. Pros: 1) The hosts are welcoming and friendly 2) location is quite convenient - located very close to the town centre Cons: 1) Overpriced 2) Free wi-fi is available, but the signal strength is poor

Whilst situated on a main road the residence was quiet. Hosts were extremely welcoming and very friendly, all you had to do was ask. Convenient location with and easy 5 minute walk to the town centre. Loved the cottage feel with you own separate verandah to sit back and relax after a hard day exploring this wonderful area.

The cottage we had was the one by the road. It was small and there was no place to put our clothes. I had to ask for cooking facilities as were mentioned on the advert . Moreover there was no WiFi in the cottage. Only next to the office, outside. We don't recommend it as it was overpriced for such...

These cottages are just off a busy road. The "cottage" is basically 1 small room and an extremely small bathroom. Yes there is a microwave and frying pan but it is basically a tea kitchen. The wifi did not work in the cottage. The location is good 5 minute walking to town. I think the cost is high. I think...

We booked in for 2 nights. When we arrived we were informed that it was an extra $30 a night for my partner to stay with me. Was not sure how booking a room for us is an extra $30 for my partner to stay????? Was informed that the accommodation is only for one person( be careful). Once we were...

We spent 4 nights split between a couple of hikes in the beautiful Fiordland NP at Templenoe Cottages which we found to be a nice spot to relax in between. The gardens are very pleasant and we enjoyed relaxing on the cottage deck. Dave was very generous in giving us lifts into town for our hike departures, other than our...

We stayed at Templenoe for 5 nights and had the best experience. Dave and Jane go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and more. The cottage was spotlessly clean and has all the extra comforts ie. Kitchen is fully kitted out, heater, electric blankets, TV+dvd player, lovely seating out the front for a nice...

Two night stay here in the Kepler cottage. Compact is the right word I think! Wet room bathroom which suffices but the whole room is quite cramped. Beautiful surroundings and everything local and not too far away. Very annoyingly the wifi was not working in our cottage but could be received outside!! Not my idea of comfort getting my emails...

We made these self contained cottages our base for exploring Lake Teanu, the surrounding walks and Milford Sound. Set in a peaceful, private garden, our cottage was the perfect place to finish our action packed days of exploring - on the deck under the shady trees, glass of vino in hand, cheese and bickies and overlooking snow capped mountains. Our...

We stayed at Te Anau primarily to visit Milford Sound which is 2 hours away, however we were blown away by how pretty and relaxing Te Anau is. Dave and Jane were wonderful hosts who made us feel 'at home' and the cottages are lovely. Their knowledge of local activities and attractions was great and nothing was too much trouble....
