On flight over we were told Wendy would look after us and this was an understatement. Wendy met us off the plane and was really lovely, she drove us around the island (Very few roads) and showed us all the places a visitor might need. The room was comfortable with ensuite and contained many thoughtful extras like insect repellant which...

If you just need to slow down from your busy life, go to Stewart Island and stay at Wendys place. She is such a lovely person and a great host and her Breakfast is just amazing! Her Stewart Island cod was the best fish I ever had, and talking with her at Apéritif-time is a wonderful exsperience. Wendy is such...

A very good B&B experience. Wendy Hallett is part of the community and as such, knows everyone. She can easily plan your days, or you can simply let them pass in quiet splendor. Stewart Island is a very special place, all very quaint (it feels a lot like Kent in England). There is a good Kiwi tour, they say the...

We stayed here earlier this year and went back again. we loved the location and the quality of the accommodation.Wendy met us at the terminal and took us to our B&B. She was very helpful to plan our itinerary. The breakfast served was very lovely and had a good spread. We certainly recommend people to come to this place.

We had a fantastic experience in Stewart Island because of this B&B. The place is clean, owner is very polite and helpful. We found them in TripAdvisor, and we decided to go with them despite not being ranked 1st or 2nd. I was told some B&B ranking in Stewart Island are manipulated by the owner pestering the guests to write...

We spent over a month in New Zealand and this was the nicest, most friendly B&B that we stayed in. Given the hospitality we received throughout our trip, which was outstanding, this is definitely saying something about Wendy, her family and this beautiful property. Wendy picked us up from the ferry and drove us to her home. There are only...

Wendy is very knowledgeable about Stewart Island and all its activities, and provides super accommodation with a stunning view of the harbour. Great breakfast in the morning and the chance to sit and chat in the evening over wine, nibbles and that amazing view....

We spent two absolutely magical days on Stewart Island. A large part of the magic was due to Wendy Hallett. The moment she greeted us when we disembarked the ferry, we knew we had met a very special person. She makes you smile just by looking at you. She is witty, capable, generous, and extremely knowledgeable. After she picked us...
