Me and my partner have stayed it quite a few hostels in the past couple of months and this is by far the worst. We had two single beds as there were no doubles available which was fine however, the one bed was so uncomfortable we both ended up sleeping on the same single bed! The room itself was dirty...

I don't even know if I'll be able to publish this review seen as I didn't even end up sleeping here... I turned up and walked in to the smelliest, messiest and dirtiest hostel I've ever seen. Maybe people were living there long term because my room was a tip with clothes everywhere, no floor space, cereal bowls on the...

I am a very easy going backpacker so I decided to try this place even though the reviews are terrible and let's just say the reviews are 100%. I wanted a private room my last night in queenstown so I decided to try the cheaper option and go here. BAD DECISION. The water that came out of the sink was...

Rented a private room with a double bed. The room was not too bad for the price, however.. the kitchen was absolutely shocking.. A barely working stove, broken microwave, disgusting kettle and so on. The shared bathroom was not any better. You can even be seen from the outside stairway when sitting on the toilet. Everything is old and not...

We have stayed in quite a few different backpackers in Queenstown before and i have never stayed in a place this disgusting in my life. Our room had holes in the walls to out side and the back of our curtains were so mouldy they were black and were suppose to be white. Our friends also stayed here in another...

First of all, there is lots of moisture throughout the hostel and sometimes you can even find mold. It definitely smells like it. Moreover, the place is not clean at all and there are very dirty bathrooms. The bald mattresses causes you a hernia and the paid wifi does not work at all!! Worst place I have ever stayed in...

When compared to other backpackers it does the job, a place to sleep, off street parking, and close to the city centre. It was cold, and we did not have access to spare blankets. Still, value for money is exactly what you would expect. It is worth staying here if you are on a budget. The staff are well educated...

Room smelled damp. It was very old and while the sheets and towels were clean this room was sorely in need of a makeover. Lounge/tvroom had 8 or so other backpackers sleeping all over the couches. This door did not close so had to endure noise well past midnight despite 10pm noise curfew. Kitchen was DISGUSTING with food and dishes...

I have stayed in upwards of 150 hostels all over the world, including third world countries and this hostel takes the cake for most abysmal. Although I was not punished with a room there myself, my travel mate was staying there who suffered a horrific six nights, three of which were overbooked which resulted with him sleeping on the communal...

I read the reviews before I went and expected the worst. I think they must have pulled their socks up since the last reviews because It's actually ok. It's a bit old but it is cheap. I would stay again. I have definitely stayed in worse places. The view is spectacular.
