Chalet Queenstown offered a very, very welcome respite from the camper van in which we had been travelling for a few weeks. As it was the end of our trip we thought we would treat ourselves and were glad we did. I had rung the number for the host's sister property Historic Stone House but it was undergoing renovations at...

We stayed here for three nights--the longest stay of our two-week South Island trip--and were very happy with our choice. The entire B&B seems bright, clean, and cheerful, with lots of windows and the biggest (and most comfy) bed we had on our entire trip. The manager (and in fact all of the staff) is super friendly, and seemed extremely...

Had the pleasure of using Chalet Queenstown as our town base during a tramping trip around the Fiordland. Great friendly atmosphere and a wealth of local knowledge. Jude , Alex and the staff couldn't do enough to help out including holding luggage between tramps , providing advise on the best places to walk and activities to do in Queenstown. Rooms...

Pleasant and welcoming base, just a short walk from the centre and very peaceful (the bed was one of the most comfortable we found in all our trip). Ask for one of the lake-view rooms – we did when we booked and it was a joy to open the curtains every morning to take in that marvellous view. Pity it...

We stayed here for two nights - before and after doing the Milford Track Tramp. It was a good choice. The rooms are very comfortable and updated/modern. The owners are really nice and helpful. They kept our luggage for us while we were on the walk and had our room ready with luggage on our return. It is very well...

This is a great place to stay to explore the town, it is about 8 minutes on foot to the main streets. The room was rather small but immaculately clean and had a charming balcony to sit and enjoy the (limited) view and tranquillity of the surroundings. Breakfast was good and the hostess very friendly to chat to.

Traveled NZ for a month and this lodging was one of the best we encountered. Host was exceptionally friendly and helpful, room was not large but modern/cosy with a view of the city and surrounding mountains. Breakfast made to order was worthy of the finest restaurant. TV/wifi where great. Super clean throughout. In walking distance to town if you can...

Once again we stayed at the Chalet Queenstown B and B and we're not disappointed. Room was clean, comfortable and included a balcony. Breakfast is either continental or hot. The pancakes and French toast are my favorites. I recommend this hotel.
