We stayed her two nights, one of which my husband was suffering from a bad cold so we spent more time than we might otherwise have done. The decor of the room is pretty retro, 70's, but the bed was massive and supremely comfortable always with the mountains and the lake in view from the big window. Like that the...

We stayed at this hotel in March for our New Zealand travel, and loved everything about it. The room was beautiful and nice atmosphere. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Our stay was so unforgettable with you.

Short walk to the center of Queenstown. Right on the river. We booked a room with a veranda and the room was spacious and quiet with all working fittings. Room was cleaned everyday and the parking was charged at $20 per week.

Family of four, stayed in the lake view room..Rooms were spacious, clean and daily service was excellent..Extremely comfortable beds, however pillows probably need an upgrade. Showers hot and water pressure good. Great location with a short stroll to town (a bit of a hill to climb on return but not unsurpassable).. Secure undercover parking not included but available at extra...

We were in the old part of the hotel but still found the rooms to be nice, clean and with great views. There was no parking supplied at the hotel but found plenty of room on the street adjoining it. Will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is not the resort. The hotel is another couple blocks further out. Make sure if you take a cab you specify. The cabs will charge you extra if you stop at the wrong one. Great views from the hotel, but a tough walk to downtown. Some food was good, some was just OK. Staff was helpful and rooms...

I had a good sized room on the ground floor with a French window onto a small terrace overlooking the garden (no view). The shower room was a reasonable size and it had a walk in disabled shower. There was an iron, ironing board, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and good hairdryer. I had dinner in the bar and...

We stayed two nights in a room with fantastic view across lake. Nice bar and restaurant, hotel layout a bit confusing, but we got used to it. Staff could not have been more helpful when we needed advice on trips and activities. Ans we were able to leave car in the private car park (for a small fee) and our...

Great hotel and convenient too! Stayed for one night and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Beds are comfy and the shower was good. If you sign up to be a member you get a discount if you book on their website. Didn't get a chance to try the facilities. Would definitely stay here again next time I visit.

I stayed at the Copthorne many years ago. Not much has changed. In fact the hotel is certainly due for an upgrade. The front desk was well staffed and polite. I had great sleep due to the low noise levels experienced. The rooms facing the lake have fantastic unobstructed views. But the shower is horrible. Being 6'4 I had no...

Thank You Ben for your review . I shall pass on your kind comments to our staff . I am sorry to hear your room did not live up to your expectations and understand regarding the shower for a person of your height. We do have rooms with stand up showers which we can offer you on your next visit....
