My 10 year old son and I stayed with Sue at the start of a 5 week adventure, travelling in New Zealand and beyond. (It was a year ago (March 2014), and we are feeling wistful that we are not there now!). It was a long journey from the UK, so it was lovely to arrive somewhere so calm and...

This lovely house has the most stunning views possible over the lake and towards Queenstown. Sue is a delightful hostess, the rooms are gorgeous, clean and with comfy beds and luxury shower rooms ensuite. The continental breakfast is delicious. The views mean that the house is uphill from Queenstown but only a short walk. Thoroughly recommended.

We happened to visit Queenstown the same weekend the New Zealand Harley Davidson rally was going on (think Sturgis, but a smaller scale). In addition, the BMX championships were being held in town. Thankfully we had a reservation at the B&B on the Hill, as parking in town was non-existent and everything was overly busy. The B&B on the Hill...

We stayed in 12 different places on our vacation, and this place was in a tie for first for our favorite. It is secluded from the main part of town, yet close enough that you can walk if you want. The views are just incredible as it sits well above the lake and has a full panoramic vista. Sue was...

We had the Lake View Room that has stunning views over Queenstown and its lake. There are also incredible views from the dining/lounge area. All the furnishings are quality and the beds are extremely comfortable. The bathroom has quality fittings with a walk-in shower. The water pressure in the shower is very good. The continental breakfasts were delicious – home...

This house having been totally refurbished less than five years ago looks new. The interior is decorated in a classic good taste manner. The large living room is a pleasant place to have tea and relax watching the lake view, the golf course and the mountains which are superb. Our room, "The Lake Room" has the same privileged views. Its...

We really enjoyed staying with Sue!. The standard of the room we had was very high, ( we understand the house has been re worked in the last 4 years). Sue was very helpful and very welcoming. The view, whilst eating breakfast, was stunning!. We look forwards to being able to return next year!

Great views from the lounge. Excellent breakfasts and Sue was a very helpful hostess. I was in the non lake view rom and if I go again would definitely opt for the room with the lake view. As well as the views it is not overlooked. I am a light sleeper and slept with my window open and was disturbed...

Thank you so much for writing a review, I have been very tardy in my response. I am sorry you were disturbed. Generally the cul de sac is quiet but occasional, as everywhere, there can be activities amongst the local residential community. Also recently there has been work in the road putting in faster broadband, this has now finished, I...

Been said before by others but a really excellent find in this special town. Away from the crowds but close enough to walk. What a view, possibly the best of all our accommodation around NZ. Good internet and breakfasts. Spacious bedroom and shared lounge if needed. Too much to do in Queenstown. The TSS Earnslaw is a must. Thanks Sue....

We spent three nights here and really enjoyed our stay in Queenstown. This is a really beautiful B&B, and Sue was very pleasant and helpful. As everyone has mentioned, there is a fabulous view of the Remarkables and Humboldt Mountains from the living area and balcony of the house. It was unseasonably cold and windy when we were there, so...
