My sister and I stayed in a 6 bed shared room for 5 nights and was very satisfied with our stay. The bed were very comfortable, with enough pillows and blankets, and a power plug and reading light at arm's reach. The room was relatively quiet. It was kept clean, and we felt really safe leaving our stuff lying around... More

We had a room with an amazing view of the water and the mountains, which felt more like a hotel than a hostel, slightly scruffy but to be expected as it is a hostel after all! Our room was a decent size, we even got free tea and coffee and the after pressure was good enough to wash long hair... More

I am very glad that I had chosen to stay at this place as its strong selling point is its prime location on the lakefront. Upon arriving at airport, took the Connectabus airport service into town and dropped off at Camp Street. Walked less than 5 mins and I reached Absoloot. Check-in was easy and made payment for stay through... More

Located just besides the lake, the view fron the kitchen is very nice, indeed it is he main reason we choose this hostel. WIFI is free and unlimited, but is a little slow and is not easy to get connected, otherwise I will give it 5 stars.

Friendly staff and perfect central location!I was placed on a top bunk for my stay after asking not to be when booking due to my mobility. Someone swapped with me on the first night but we found suitable acomadation after that and they kindly refunded the rest of our stay. The bathrooms are tight as you would expect of a... More

We slept in a double bedroom. It was a good room with plenty of space. Economic place with bathroom in the room. In the middle of the city and next to the lake. Free wifi. The staff recommend us a few places to go.

I've been to many different hostels in Queenstown, including YHA (both, and I'm a member), Nomads and Haka Lodge, and of course Absoloot Value. They were all good, but it depends on what you are looking for, to determine if it's the best for you Absoloot had everything I needed; two common areas - one TV-room with a big flatscreen... More

Great and comfy accommodation. Staff is super inviting and using the kitchen and common room is sheer pleasure. Newly renovated kitchen with fresh accessories and an astounding view of the waterfront as you cook. Beds are comfy clean and the rooms are neat. So cheap too! Highly recommended!

This hotel is positioned as good as any in queenstown with a lakefront view and literally in the center of town. Staff are friendly, the room is serviced daily, and the communal kitchen has stunning mountain and lake views. Very impressed with how cheap a double room was for peak season. 10 nights with ensuite bathroom for $980nzd. Would start... More
