Decos was an okay place to stay, and the people who had it was nice, but strict. Pros: - Clean sheets - Cheap - ideally located - good kitchen - Nice guests and fun evenings - beautiful garden Cons: - Not clean under bed - Old hostel - I could feel the springs in the matress, and some of them...

Stayed here for 3 nights. It's located off the city center so besides the occasional drunken guest who stumble in the early hours (can't avoid this in QT anyway ;)) , it's nice and quiet. No blankets on the beds which I found a bit weird. Toilets and showers are fine. Kitchen itself is quite small but has heaps of...

A group of fellow exchange students and myself stayed here and enjoyed our experience. Tony, the helpful owner, graciously went out of his way to help us newbies (to the backpackers world, that is) when we got into an accommodation bind. He ensured we all had a warm and safe place for us to stay. We mingled with others and...

Loved my time at Deco's, stayed for a total of 3 months. There is a big communal area with a large kitchen and TV room full of bean bags, perfect for a cosy night in or a duvet day after a heavy night out. This is a very loud, social fun hostel so if your looking for a place to...

This hostel is the main reason why I decided to stay for a month in Queenstown without a job. The hostel itself is a cool place, it's situated in a quiet area right outside the center of Queenstown and a couple of minutes away from the lake, bars and restaurants - hey, we're still talking about Queenstown eh, it's not...

Its something like a party hostel, so be aware. The rooms are nice, with shared bathroom. It has a big kitchen and dining room. Locates just a few blocks from centre. Made really nice friends here. Totally recomend it!!!!!

The worst hostel we've ever stayed in. Seriously, we booked two double private rooms. They were smelly, like unbearable. They acknowledged it but had no other room left. The whole place is dirty and the staff was very expeditious. One of the rooms was outside, where everyone gather. People were making noise and playing soccer against our bedroom door all...

This hostel is not very welcoming at all! When checking in we were greeted with someone who looked as if she didn't care at all, we were shown round briefly and hurried along which made us feel un welcome from the start! Our room was OK, there were a lot of bugs on the bed which was particularly very nice!...
