We were lucky enough to have an executive room, very tastefully appointed, spacious and the luxury of a spa bath. Lovely outdoor area for us to sit in off our lounge, everything about the place including the hostess Diana was delightful

We were allocated the mobility studio unit which was just fine for our two night stay. There was only one lounge chair which is a slight inconvenience, but the room was fairly modern and clean and far enough from the main road to be quiet.

Fantastic 2 separate nights in between visiting stewart Island. A haven on a busy road, which you do not notice. Easy to find. Parking outside door. Laundry. Lovely couple running it. Wish there were more like this! Thanks super say.

Having stayed in a lot of motels and hotels this motel would rate up there with the best of them. A cleaner motel you would be hard pressed to find and this aspect is highly important to us. Easily recommended and we will stay there again.

Stayed here for a month when emigrating to NZ for a new job. The place is well run, spotless, all modern conveniences, absolutely no problems whatsoever. Great TV, fast wifi, easy parking outside the room - cannot fault it at all!!

Perfect place for staying while travelling on business. The owners are lovely and I cannot fault a single thing about the rooms; they're big, super clean and airy and have everything you need. Added bonus of having some of the nicest bathrooms I've come across while travelling.

Wonderful and welcoming. Thank you for a warm oasis amidst the cold icy blast from the South Pole during our recent visit! Such a treat to thaw out in the spa after a day out and about in the wind and rain. Our 1 bedroom unit was fully self contained and handy for the places we visited. Highly recommended!

Heading to Invercargill for the Burt Munro Challenge, it can be hard to find accommodation if not booked well in advance. I wasn't the quickest off the blocks but one of the places still available was 388 Tay. It looked okay online but I guess I didn't have great expectations. How surprised and delighted I was, then, to arrive and...

We have just stayed at this motel for four nights with several families due to a sports competition in the city. Dianna was excellent to deal with, she was very understanding when I had to change our booking several times and made the process very easy. The motel rooms are absolutely spotless, they are cleaned and serviced to a high...
