During early March, 2017 we stayed for several nights at 858 George Street at the beginning of our 3 week south island adventure. Upon arrival we received a really warm welcome from Sally and Michael. They made us feel like family. The accommodation was excellent value and extremely spacious and immaculate. Once we settled into our beautiful apartment Michael asked...

We stayed only one night here and wished it was longer. The managers are friendly and helpful, and the room was a fabulous surprise. We had booked a 2 bedroom unit and couldn't believe we had an entire standalone two story two bedroom house. Furnished beautifully. Everything we needed, including a gorgeous gas fire so it was toasty warm. It...

From first sight (apparently an attractive close of older style homes) to contact with reception (exceptionally helpful, chatty, friendly, full of recommendations and tales of what was going on today in the city) to first sight of the room. Astoundingly and surprisingly classy - definitely the best we had seen so far on our 10 day tour. So much wood,...

My wife and I stayed in a spa room on the first floor for 3 days. Everything was spotlessly clean the couple running the hotel were more than helpful and generous. We had a trouble free quiet 3 nights and all the services were excellent. We have no hesitation recommending the Motel.

We have been touring NZ for 21 days have stayed in 11 motels and this is THE BEST. We were in a 2 Bedroom Apartment, Room1,which was more like a Townhouse than a Motel Room. The extras included a Dishwasher, Suction mat in the bath for showering, Complimentary Laundry (most places charge $8), paper towel in kitchen. The owners were...

What a lovely surprise to walk into a beautifully appointed room in the heart of Dunnedin. Walking distance to restaurants, Otago museum and university. Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. I would book this again.

What a wonderful recommendation from our travel agent at ExperienceNZ in Wellington. Our one regret is that we are only here for one night. The rooms are generously sized and comfortable. We loved the private balcony of our upstairs room, and as for the huge bathroom with a spa bath! The host was extremely helpful, giving us a full rundown...

When visiting Dunedin recently for a medical emergency we were so grateful to be able to stay here. The hosts were beyond kind, helping us out with whatever they could, and the rooms are spotless and beautiful.
